Answer:	The opening wheel (not really a blade) does NOT touch the contents in the can. It only contacts the outside edge of the can rim. So the food is not contaminated. Sometimes, some of the food leaks out and gets of the wheel. I use a small brush dipped in warm dish water to clean the wheel. A tooth brush works great.

You then cut through horizontally from one end to the other and are trying to pry open the packaging and you cut yourself with a fountain of blood flowing out of your cut fingers. Still not frustrated?"Frustration-Free Packaging" is VERY straightforward packaging which makes opening said product(s) VERY seamless, is friendly to the environment by being recyclable, and is simply a no-brainer to open. This type of packaging comes cheaper because it is usually cheaper to manufacture a simple cardboard box/envelope (ordered in volume) versus the annoying plastic packaging or needlessly involved boxes that serve no useful function (i.e. complicated designs come at a cost).Some personal opinions:- I choose frustration-free regardless of price because of the ease of use when it comes to opening the items.- They're in some cases more reliable than the manufacturer's packaging being crammed into a box with bags of air and wiggle room in part due to shock sensitivity.- I've been cut before trying to open retail-packaged, clamshell packaging (the plastic that usually gets cut with scissors). Question:	What’s the measurements for the mounting holes
Answer:	Possibly. I've never tried it though. I do know that it would require a great deal of strength and the can crusher would have to be mounted to something extremely solid in order to do so. If only mounted to the wall as mine is, I could see it tearing loose if used to crush something made of heavier metal, such as soup cans. Again, this is only conjecture on my part, but based on sound principles of physics.

Answer:	We tried it but never really used it I think it would work better if mounted.
Question:	Will this crush metal soup cans
Answer:	They can but have to put them in one at a time, they don’t go down the chute but you can fit them in thru the bottom. A little time consuming but not bad. The can tend to hang up in the chute so it’s not as fast as they advertise but for the most part faster than the single can . Seemed to be flimsy but has held up well for us.

Answer:	I dont know the gauge of steel. But i can tell you it is pretty sturdy. I mountes it on a 2x6 and clamped to a table and it works good. I use for plastic bottles and cans

Answer:	It goes from approximately 8 1/4" when open to 1 1/2" when closed.
Question:	Is there a warranty
Answer:	I honestly don't remember. I know it won't crush Foster Lager cans. I got rid of it because it bent. Personally i thought it was going to be more heavy duty than it is once i got it. Ended up buying one I had before that lasted a few years. I wouldn't buy it again.

Answer:	Hi there! It will crush 2 liter bottles so a 24 oz can should be no problem.

Answer:	Yes it definitely has to be mounted. The main reason I bought it was for my wife and grandkids so they could crush their own. I still use my boot like I've done my whole life. It works great for them

Answer:	It would be pretty awkward to use if it weren't mounted to something solid. It has a variety of mounting holes so that you can attach it to a firm surface, like a wall, cabinet, wall stud, tree, fence post, etc. When crushing a can you need to put a quite a bit of force on the handle so it needs to be securely mounted.
Question:	Is wall mounting required or can it be used for 1 can per day freestanding crusher? If not Any ideas of how to achieved this
