Answer:	its a trick question. too many variables. first, does the OEM ones that are in there have a flat surface for the tool to grab. when i did a town & country mini van, it was completely round. so i had to use the other type, the clamp type to get it off. then i made sure when i purchased the replacement inner tie rods, it had the flat surface for this tool to grab when installing. its a tricky process. you need multiple tools on hand to be ready for anything. but i did successfully use this tool to install the tie rods on the town & country once i purchased the replacement parts that worked with the tool. the first parts they shipped me where completely round as well, and the tool was useless for those. the clamp style tool works great for removing, but often damages the joint because you have to squeeze it pretty hard, which doesn't matter when you are removing them. with the right parts, this tool works great and should work on your car.
