Answer:	you of course can use it, but will it fix your leak no, it will slow it down but will not stop it. lucas oil products are nothing more than super thick oil kinda of like pouring very thick gear oil into your engine. you are using a very thin oil, i would think because of high rpms & heat your oil needs to move fast & freely to keep all parts lubed. talk to a penta dealer but i'm guessing they will tell to fix the leak correctly with a new gasket or replacement part to cure the leak

Answer:	I pulled this info from the vendor.Use Lucas Oil Stabilizer in gear oil to stop leaks, reduce operating temperatures and increase the life of the gear oil. Since it is pure petroleum, it can safely blend with all other automotive lubricants, even synthetics, ATF and mineral oil. It keeps old engines alive and new engines new.

Answer:	No, you don't need to replace it on every oil change. This additive mixes with your motor oil and coats the inside of the engine as well as the seals (where usually the leaks comes from). As I've mentioned before don't overfill this two mixture (your motor oil & Lucas Stop Leak) beyond your engine's capacity. Once you've drained your old oil and replaced the drain plug & new oil filter on your vehicle carefully add the Stop Leak then the additional motor oil, checking on the dip stick every now and then while adding them, so as not you won't overfill the engine.'Motor Honey', I haven't come across this product. Is this just a figure of speech?

Answer:	I was reluctant to put it in my 4L60E, but I did when the leak got pretty bad and I didn't have time to fix it. I only put in 1 bottle when the instructions called for 2, but oh my goodness what a result. Stopped the leak completely in under a half hour. I was blown away... blown away. Thought it was snake oil, turns out this stuff is legit. Then as if that weren't enough... the darn transmission started shifting more crisply... tooootally unexpected side benefit. It has lasted almost exactly a year and now the leak is slowly starting to come back. I have no reservations about treating it again. Since it can't over-swell the seals, this time I'll be adding the recommended 2 bottles. This product is a rare diamond in the rough of snake oil products. So to answer your question, yes, apparently it does work in 4L60E transmissions.

Answer:	I can only say that it stopped my rear main oil seal leak for sure. That said, my drain bolt has a copper washer and it had a very slow drip. I tried BARS on a 2004 Nissan Xterra with no luck. Spent most of the day replacing a broken valve cover gasket and not a single drop of oil anywhere

Answer:	From my experience, the stop leak in this product can cause oil to turn to a gel inside the engine, so inherently the lucas oil stabilizer would be better. STP oil treatment contains ZDDP, which is an anti-wear additive that is missing from newer oils and essential for non-roller cam engines. The lucas product documentation claims it is 100% petroleum, so I would not expect any additives like that. I would recommend the standard blue container STP oil treatment, that does not contain stop leak, due to its additional anti-wear additive. Other than that, they both indicate they work by increasing the viscosity rating of your oil.
Question:	Can I put this in my engine with marvel mystery oil my truck only takes 5qt of 5w
Answer:	Yes, but you should read the percentages of what you are adding as to not dilute the motor oil too much. Marvel should be like 1 oz per quart, adding STP is the same as almost 1/2 quart.

Answer:	The answer is, I'm not sure. The previous owner of my car put very heavy oil in the rear diff maybe to stop it leaking, but not entirely. So I drained it,put the correct oil in and the Bardhal. The leak is no worse than before, which suggests it probably has had some effect. Hope this helps. Personally, I would put it in as it provides additional protection, plus, I checked the oil level after 3 months, and despite the drip, it had not gone down.

Question:	My steering fluid is a little above min at present.Do I have to drain the existing fluid before adding this
Answer:	If I recall the directions (when all else fails, read the directions!) you should get as much of the existing power steering fluid out and then add the Stop Leak. I actually did this twice so that the fluid would be mostly the Lucas product and the leak stopped shortly thereafter. Do not overfill the reservoir!

Answer:	I searched and found this: "Can I use Lucas power steering fluid in a Honda? a.) Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak is compatible with Honda specified power steering fluid. Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak is largely a seal softener, so if the leak is due to a torn seal or a damaged hose or pipe, it will not work." Hope this helps,

Answer:	Although the bottle says compatible with all power steering fluid your car uses Dextron III ATF in the power steering and I don't believe they are compatible. I would not use it unless LUCAS tech support says it's OK.

Answer:	I have not heard any think about that. I used it to fix noise in my Chrysler 04. It works well. According to research I've done, it compatible with any US vehicles between 02- 08 at least. I used 40% of this product + 60% Lucas Power Steering fluid.
