That is why I was waiting for some one with 2014 - 2015 with GMC to review and there are three of them. As soon as I purchase I will give a full review as a 45 year GM technician. Fahren says they are CanBus compatible.

Question:	I have a 2006 gmc sierra 1500. i want the brightest lights i can buy for both low and high beam lights. which ones do i buy? do you sell just the high
Answer:	I put these in my 2005 Toyota sienna and they are very bright. I ended up having to adjust my headlights down as they were blinding oncoming traffic. I could easily see into cars in front of me before the adjustment. So yes they are rather bright. You might have to readjust headlamps after installing them. On my vehicle they seem to act more like floods than they should. This it was harder to get the alignment adjusted correctly. You can buy them in a set like this or lows and highs separately. 9006 are low and 9005 are high.

Answer:	No one isn't need. They have a pigtail wire that connects to your original plug. Kit also comes with zip ties and sticky pads to keep wires out of the way
