| Answer: | Your Dodge Ram uses H13 bulbs (9008) for both hi/low beams. 9006, 9008, H11 are just sizes and your vehicle will only be able to accommodate just one size. As far as brightness goes, you have halogen, then the advanced halogen (silver star, ultra, xyz, etc...) but I would recommend a good set of HIDs if you really want true brightness. Just don't go over 5000K because that's when the lights start to change colors and what not. I paid almost $40 for a pair of silver stars, they were definitely an improvement over my original halogen bulbs but didn't last long. I would say in three months time, the brightness was just the same as my original halogens, if not worse. After I got rid of my silver stars, I went with HIDs and never looked back! |

Their warranty is only 30 days! iServe on Amazon sells the bulbs for the same price and is an authorized dealer. I like the bulbs but one just went out after less than 3 months. I just purchased the bulbs again, but this time I was observant enough to look for an authorized seller on Amazon. Since the bulbs tend to have a short life, definitely buy from a seller that covers the factory 12 month warranty. Benefit from my hard learned lesson. |

I installed them in 2011 and did not have one go out until 2014, over 3 years. I did purchase them again. As far as the "whiteness and illumination" I think these are the best so far from Sylvania. Everybody is different, you may perceive that they may not be whiter or brighter. I am very happy with them. |

| Answer: | When the bulbs first came out I believe I read they had an estimated life expectancy of about 800 hours. I installed a pair on my vehicle that had separate DRLs but the light sensor went bad which caused the headlights to be on anytime the ignition switch was on. It was about 5 years and about 75,000 miles before I finally replaced the headlight sensor and the SilverStar zXe bulbs are still working. The key to longevity is not touching the glass bulb unless you are wearing gloves or not cleaning them with an alcohol prep pad if you do handle the light by the bulb. |

| Answer: | You generally start out with the car, and then see what bulbs fit it, but the 9005 is a single filament bulb, normally used as a high-beam element. It was said to be used by both GM and Dodge in some of their vehicles. Not sure what imports it all fits, but if your stock headlamp is a variety of the 9005 series, this bulb will fit. Sadly though, the Silverstar bulbs have a short lifespan. Good luck. |

However, they are incandescent lights, and the longer they're on/used, the more quickly they'll run through their rated lifespan and need to be replaced. If you mean, e.g., can they be installed in the car's normal "running light" position/fixture (only comes on in daylight hours, when the car is put in a moving gear), again, sure they CAN, if they'll fit/work in the particular car's running light position/fixture. I'd probably avoid this, however, since these bulbs run pretty hot, and running light fixtures are usually smaller than headlight fixtures, with less ambient air flow around the bulb. |

It keeps about 5 or 6 months.When I use the second half, it helps to leave it on just a little longer. Although it does still work, in my opinion it doesn't really look as good or "fresh" when I use the whole box. Try it once to see if it works for you. |
