Question:	What is the Actual dimensions of this 8 gang toggle panel, the description says ( 9.25x 4.72 x 3.54 inches..But the image shows it smaller, Actual
Answer:	So a lot of misinformation here... this unit comes with a blocking diode built in to the unit (I have had one of these plugged into by van for about 10 years). This blocking diode prevents the car from supplying current into the panel (like at night), which would result in slow discharge of your car battery. You can leave this plugged in all the time (like for 10 years). The person talking about the Schottky barrier diode has it wrong. This type of diode has a lower forward drop voltage (less than half a traditional silicon diode). And you DON'T put it between the two terminals... in one direction it will short your panel and car battery (blow the fuse and probably fry the diode), if you put in the other direction it does NOTHING... it is in reverse bias, and essentially no current flows. If you decide to put it in series with the charger, you will reduce the available charging voltage (and therefore the available current) by about 0.3 volts. The internal blocking diode is already doing this job. If there is someone out there that has the problem of discharging the car batter overnight, you either have a bad battery or your solar panel blocking diode is shorted (not working).
Question:	Can you run a fuse block with this
Answer:	To charge a 12V battery, you need at least 14V. And voltage drops over distance, so the plug in the very back of my SUV only outputs 10V, meaning it will need a higher voltage (at least 16V) to be sure it will still charge the battery. You're right that, if this was a high-speed charger with more power (amps/watts) 18V could potentially do some damage. But at just 5W (which is 0.28amps at 18V) it really doesn't output enough power to hurt a big car battery. At worst, you might lose water quicker. With a tiny wheel-chair or UPS/FIOS battery, you might have to be a bit more cautious of overcharging with this solar panel.
Question:	Are all lights off on panel when switches are off
Answer:	You're right. MOST cars don't power the cigarette lighter unless the key is on. So if the key is off your solar battery is not connected. That's why they give you battery clips so you can clip the PVP (PhotoVoltaic Panel) directly to the battery. You could hard wire a socket directly to the battery if you like. GO to a junk yard and scrap out an old lighter port from an older car and wire it in. Since this panel is a mere 300 mA (0.3 amps) you don't need heavy gauge wire. But you DO need to be sure you don't short out the wire on some sharp metal surface.

Answer:	I think the wires that came with the unit are probably 6 feet long but if you need more length you can purchase an extender. Keep in mind the less the voltage must travel the more efficient the charger will operate.

Answer:	You could if you connected it to a small 12v battery and used some of the 12 LED retrofit light kits they use for the interior of cars or an 12v led strip. I'd suggest maybe a 12v CCTV battery to make it affordable. Unless you are talking about large amounts of light, then you probably would be better off with some kind of pre-made solar light kit.
Question:	Does this unit have a charge profile controller for lead acid batteries, they prevent over charging & shut down the current as battery approaches 12v
Answer:	It has no controller. But if you charge small batteries, you need a controller. If you charge a large battery, you don't need a controller because its current is relatively small and it won't cause overcharging.

Question:	Can I attach the hose to the rod
Answer:	This device serves to provide an extension for USB and/or 3.5mm AUX inputs on a car radio. You plug in the connections into your radio which are connected by cables to the larger hard plastic/rubber piece. The larger hard plastic/rubber piece can then be placed in a position away from the radio to provide a more remote location into which you can plug in a USB and/or 3.5 mm AUX that will work with the radio. Whether this device will work with a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe is dependent on whether your car radio has USB and/or 3.5 AUX inputs, whether you can access those inputs to plug this device into, and whether you can identify a place in your car to receive or attach the larger hard plastic/rubber piece to. I used my Batige to connect to a replacement Kenwood car radio I placed in a 2003 Ford Escape. The Batige allowed me to connect my I-phone to the new radio and use its Apply Play. I drilled a hole in my dashboard and placed the larger hard plastic/rubber piece in that hole. To understand whether this Batige unit will work with your car requires that you understand how it will function with your current or replacement radio, how you will access that radio's inputs and where you will place the larger hard plastic/rubber piece.
