Answer:	"Septic safe" on the box means it won't corrode pipes and concrete (tank). That misses the essential element, will it disturb the ecology of the tank (kill the bacteria that are essential for septic operation). Caustic materials like drain cleaner are very bad for your septic, bleach not so bad probably because of the dilution in the washer. I am relating here the information conveyed to me by my county department of licenses and inspection septic system expert and a licensed septic inspector. So the anlswer depends on the materials used, which are not stated anywhere. 7 months is not sufficient time to evaluate. You don't want to learn after three years that you've poisoned the system and clogged the drainage field, requiring a $8,000 to $10,000 job to replace something that should have lasted 40 years. Here's what's in it according to the safety data sheet supplied by Whirlpool via Home Depot: Polyoxy(methyl-1,2-ethanediyl), a-hydro-w-hydroxy- 1% Sodium Carbonate Peroxyhydrate 50% - 70% Boric Acid 20% - 30% Sodium Carbonate 20% - 30% Tetrasodium EDTA 1% Most of these are found in everyday laundry detergent. Tetrasodium EDTA is a preservative. The long weird name stuff is the joker in the mix, perhaps more research is needed. I'm not sure I will risk using this in my washer, as I try to take good care of my septic system. Answer:	Since I have a Maytag HE washer and have used this product with excellent success. I would say yes. Answer:	I am very sensitive to fragrances, but this product does not bother my eyes or skin. I have used monthly in an empty front loading HE washer for 7 months. The washer smells fresh & clean, but not objectionable at all. I highly recommend this product.

Answer:	The box does not say if any ingredients were tested on animals. The ingredients are: Sodium percarbonate, Sodium carbonate, Glucono-delta-lactone, Polyethylene glycol, Sodium acetate, and Fragrance. Affresh products are made by Whirlpool so I checked their safety data sheet (www.affresh.com/sds). The fragrance was tested using IFRA standards. The IFRA website (https://ifrafragrance.org/search?indexCatalogue=general-search&searchQuery=Animal) says they are incorporating non-animal testing, but it appears they are just now in transition. It is a “Safer Choice” product, meaning it doesn’t contain ingredients known to be harmful to the environment. Hope this helps!
Question:	When I put powder directly in the drum it falls through the holes when the drum turns, before the water starts filling. Help
Answer:	I had a 9 year old Samsung front loader that I cleaned once a month with vinegar and baking soda using the sanitize cycle. About a month ago I heard a loud bang and the drum started scraping the sides. I called the repairman and he said he thought the repair would run about $400. That was too much so I gave the machine to a guy and he took it apart and found the spider-arm (holds the drum) had shattered. That's what the repairman thought it was. The drum and spider-arm were completely covered with a mass of soap scum buildup. So I would say Vinegar does not help AT-ALL. I bought a Maytag top loader without an agitator. It has a cycle called "clean washer with Affresh" which I will use every month. It sounds like cheap insurance on future damage.

Fabric softener can "coat" the mechanism in your washer...but the manufacturer suggested using softener and then using Tide washing machine cleaner about once a month to get rid of that residue.

Answer:	I have never noticed a scent after the Affresh cycle. So it is scent free in that any residual scents or smells from a month's worth of washes are removed after the Affresh cycle. This is a good product that we have used since buying our new washing machine 2 years ago.

Question:	Is the date "MFG" at the bottom of the product box a manufacturing date or an expiration date
Answer:	My box has two dates. The one on top says MFG 2020/04/12 and the one under that says EXP 2022/04/11. So if your only has a the MFG date, you can probably consider them having a two year expiration date. But they are just cleaning supplies so I doubt the expiration date really means much! It isn't like they are suddenly going to go bad on their expire date! I wouldn't be afraid to put them in my washing machine after 2022/04/11!

Answer:	I bought this product, because I couldn’t find the product I usually use anywhere. I didn’t look where the product was made until this question. This product is made in China. And, even though it is a good product, I will not purchase again because it is made in China.

Answer:	I don't think so but I would recommend that you spend the extra money and buy a Stihl power washer. I do not recommend this one. I used about 6 times and the pump went out on it. The pressure washer has been in the service repair for the last 4 weeks!! Not pleased with this product at all. If you are going to buy it buy it from a physical store because they would just give you a new one if it broke under warranty but since I purchased off Amazon I have to go through the Company and they just send to a service repair center.

Answer:	Small engines like this have an oil pressure switch. No oil, no workie. Make sure that it is on a level surface. Sometimes if the slope is too much, the oil won't float the oil pressure switch and it won't start. Another common problem with small engines is a BAD oil pressure switch - and they do go bad. With a little electrical knowledge, you can jumper (bypass) the switch - if it starts then make sure that you get a new oil pressure switch.

Answer:	This product works best on organic soils, and red clay is a mineral stain. It won't harm the stone, but I recommend using it stronger than label instructions. Using a pump-up, garden-style sprayer, mix Oxysolve 50/50 with water. Apply to a section of the stone and scrub with a non-metallic deck brush. Rinse before the cleaning solution has a chance to dry, or it will be more difficult to remove. IF the stain is lightened, but not completely gone, reapply the same way.
Question:	Will this clean stone stained with red clay
Answer:	Thanks for the question... If your walls are concrete or block/brick or some other typical exterior wall surface, you can use the Concrete and Driveway, or the Total Outdoor versions of Oxy Solve. For soot, I would recommend making the dilution for manual application stronger than what is on the label. Please try 1-part-Oxy Solve to 10-parts-water. Apply to the surface in sections so that you can rinse before the product has a chance to dry. Apply, let sit for 3-5 minutes, scrub, and rinse at highest pressure - or apply, let sit for 3-5 minutes, and pressure wash to rinse at highest pressure. If you can apply the solution with a pump-up, garden-type of sprayer and then pressure wash at high pressure to rinse, you'll be able to cover a larger area than if you use the pressure washer chemical application setting to apply the product (which sucks down product very quickly.) Answer:	This is a very well made wand. The pressure is not put on the aluminum telescoping tube; it is in the hose that travels up inside the wand as you extend it out. The wand can be a bit heavy at full extension with a higher water pressure. I use mine at full extension at around 3500 psi. (about 240 bar). Hope this is helpful.
