Answer:	Just as you can use starch with a standard iron you can use it with the Singer 20" Steam press. It may be necessary to clean the upper plate more often to remove build-up.

Answer:	Hello, Thanks for asking this question. The recommended temperature for Vinyl is 275* F/135* C. Leather is more resilient than vinyl so this should be fine. We would recommending testing this on a scrap piece to ensuring it does not damage your piece.
Question:	Can this be used on bare floors such as linoleum or wood
Answer:	If you want a good, reasonably-priced floor steamer, I would recommend a Shark. I've had one for a couple of years now, and I love it! I paid well less than $100 for it; though I don't remember exactly what I paid, I believe it was even less than $50 on sale at a local big box.
Question:	Is it possible to create creases in pants? How
Answer:	I needed to crease napkins so i just laid them on the ironing board and “ironed” therm with the steamer. It worked perfectly. I imagine you would be able to do the same with your pants.
Question:	How do you hang clothes to steam? Can you hang them from the steamer itself
Answer:	Yes, I use a plastic hanger bc the wood can stain your clothing. There is a spot to hang next to where you hook the hose at the top. Love this steamer. Word of warning, do not leave water in it when not in use. After each use, I take the water bucket out and allow it to continue steaming until the water in the machine is gone. This prevents spores from growing and prolongs usage of steamer I believe.
Question:	Do you need the metal head
Answer:	As previously mentioned, the metal head acts heats up and can be used as a traditional iron, but for steaming it's bulky (large diameter) and too heavy to hold for any length of time. I exchanged the metal head for the plastic head

Answer:	Just so everyone is clear this is a brake piston compressor for the FRONT caliper only WILL NOT work for the rears because at its lowest setting it’s still to big to fit in between piston and caliper. Other than that great tool and the two different size end I’ve been able to use it on just about all makes and models with the twist style brake piston.

Answer:	It could be the water. Mineral content can wreak havoc including staining. I would not fault the press without first changing the source of your water. Give it a shot! Hope it helps.

Answer:	No The Singer Intelligent model 36T1 Steam Press will not lock when closed while pressing. Locking can only be accomplished manually by lowering the pressing plate down and turning the locking knob to “Lock” position. The press should never be locked until completely cooled down per instructions in the manual.
Question:	Is the machine designed to support 220v power voltage? Or do I need to use a voltage convertor
Answer:	The Singer Intelligent 36T1 Steam Press and other appliances that are made for the US market and purchased from a US vendor such as Amazon are 110/120 volts. In order to use them abroad you most often will need to purchase a transformer. Unfortunately we DO NOT recommend that a transformer be used on electronic/computerized products. It is our experience that when using a transformer there are too many fluctuations in the voltage causing irregular surges. For this reason we cannot guarantee that you will be able to use this press in a country that uses 220/240 volts. You need to be aware that should you connect this press to a transformer and the wiring is damaged, you will be responsible for any parts and labor to repair the machine, as using a transformer voids the warranty. These items were intended for sale in North America only.

Same issue with another one of the torx drivers in the set. Also the plastic wedge tools are useless, tried to use them to help with said iPhone repairs and they bent or broke.
