But there is a flare another inch and three quarters on the outer body (where post reduces down to 27.2mm) So absolute minimum dropper post length from the top of your seat tube to the bottom of seat rail.. would be three and a quarter inches .... hope this helps |

| Answer: | You can use it with a dropper post. However, when the dropper is all the way dropped my tail light (NiteRider Sabre) does rub on it. The light is mounted between the top of the dropper and the seat clamp. The light is fairly tall too so a different/shorter light would likely not have that issue. I'm on a Pivot 429 - on different bikes the saddle bag (any saddle bag for that matter) may have tire clearance issues w/ dropper all the way down as well but I don't have that problem. |
