Question:	Will these work in Kennore machines
Answer:	I have the 6 inch pair because I wanted to cut short cuts. This pair is very sharp and keeps it's edge well. I have not used them to cut leather, but if you are cutting out small items I would go with this pair. For long cuts a larger pair would probably be better. The cuts I made with them were through 3-6 layers of flannel and about 1/2 " in length. They were great for this purpose. Hope this helps.
Question:	Needle size for 14 oz denim
Answer:	Overall, I think the 10" would be best for your project. This is a scissors you will probably use for heavy fabrics only. While it is not difficult to open and close it is a little tighter than other scissors. Initially I thought I would use my 8" Amplify for most fabrics but because of the tighter pull I use my regular sewing scissors 99% of the time. Still...if you sew you will be glad you have it when working with the heavier weight fabrics.
Question:	can these needles be used on a serger
Answer:	Ramarco and "Amazon Customer" are both incompetent. I purchased these scissors based on their answers and I'm severely disappointed. The blade length is 1 3/4" and the longest cut they'll make is 1 5/8".

Answer:	Try taking 'shorter' cuts with the snips. I love my snips, however I've found that 6 - 8 layers can be to challenging for the snips; but they are still 100% better than any other shears I us to use including my Gingher's. Hope this helps!

Answer:	I have not used or tried the H 5532, but looking on line it looks like the difference is the stitches on each machine. Singer 4432 has basic stitches and Singer 5532 has more, but not too many. The accessories are the same plus the machine runs the same. I have really enjoyed the Singer 4432. I can sew on thick fabrics like denim without hardly thinking about it. If you like more decorative stitches then that one would be the one to go for. The rest is all the same.

Answer:	The machine has box feed. Now let me break this down to simple terms.Most sewing machines feed dogs( the part that moves the fabric under the needle) move in an arc. This mean they move up and down pulling the fabric each time they rotate to the top. This does not give constant pressure under the fabric and you can move it wheb the feed dogs are down. This may cause a skipped or uneven stitch. This machine has a box feed. This means the feed dogs do not move up and down in an arc. They move the fabric with a continuous pressure on the fabric. This is important when fabric is thick and when it is very thin. It has an adjustable feed which gives you the choice of the amount of feed or pressure. It also has a pressure adjustment on the foot so that you can choose how hard the pressure foot sets down on the fabric. This gives you the ability to adjust the feed to the fabric. For example when you are sewing the butterfly stitch, you want an even pressure so the chain of butterflies is the same each time. You do not want to feed to fast so the pressure is set lower. If on the other hand you are sewing a lot of straight seams and speed is what you want then set more pressure on foot , and feed dogs all the way up. If it is a curve such as a sleeve where you want to go more slowly so you can feed the material in a circle. the feed at medium set and the pressure medium for the material being used will smoothly stitch the curve. Too fast and you can't turn the material as fast as it is going thru. The result is a overrun or bunching of material. Since the bottom of the fabric feed faster than the top always lay the sleeve on the bottom. When the right speed is set the fabric can be eased into place without pinching..I hope this helps others understand the difference in box and arc.

Answer:	I bought this Juki HZL-G220 specifically for free-motion quilting and I am enjoying it. My biggest disappointment was that when I ordered a box of “Juki” quilting attachment feet, I should have ordered from Sew N Vac Direct in the first place. They are the vendor who sent my Juki machine through Amazon and they are the vendor who answered all my Juki questions, such as whether the walking foot I wanted would match my machine model. If you’re buying any Juki parts for free-motion quilting, as I did, I would recommend SewNVac as the vendor you use (your Amazon order will show “shipped from” so you know the company)....don’t go with an unknown and end up with a handful of attachment feet that aren’t even Juki brand and don’t match the picture. Happy quilting!
Question:	Does it chime with a 1/4 foot
Answer:	I chose the HZL-G220 because it was a big deal for me to have the built in thread cutting button. I did all the comparisons you are doing and this was the only difference I could tell from the description. It was SO SO worth the extra money to be able to push that scissor button to end my thread line, move my fabric to a new place, and begin a new stitch without pulling everything out, finding the scissors, cutting the threads and restarting every time I came to a new place. Wish I had invested in this years ago - quilting would have been more fun.

Answer:	It is the same part number it shows in the manual- that is how I got here.
Question:	Can this machine really sew through many layers of denim
Answer:	If you don't want it to gather, then why use it at all? Just thread the elastic through the secured hems, or zig-zag it with a wide stitch. Either way will let the body stretch it when needed, but won't gather.

Answer:	Yes, the Brother SA212 does fit the 1134D serger.

Question:	Is this machine dual voltage? (does) the voltage allow up to 220v
Answer:	It is not dual voltage, 110V only. I contacted Brother who said I can use a stepdown transformer, BUT they do not recommend it. Still, since I bought this on Amazon and I live in the Philippines, freight back was not something I wanted to lay on anyone. Therefore, I bought a 500 Watt step down transformer to ensure I made the 2 amp requirement for operation. I carefully plugged everything in and all work perfectly. The 500 watt transformer handles things beautifully. My lady loves the Brother and says it does everything she could want. She just made fitted sheets for our bed and they came out perfect. She highly recommends this machine.
Question:	Can you drop the feed dogs on this model, or only cover them up
Answer:	The feed dogs do not drop but there is a darning plate that covers them. I have done a bit of free motion quilting with it and it works well.

Answer:	Yes - This is one of the easiest machines to use. You will get used to the foot pedal very fast to control the speed. I have given several of these machines away as presents. I also keep two of these machines at all times.They get used of leather work, quilting and wearable art such as jackets and shirts. A great machine !!!
Question:	does this machine have foot pedal
Answer:	Yes there is a foot control but it is the Achilles Heel of the machine. I can't control the machine well with this foot pedal as it is so light weight a wind will tip it over....thus you won't get a smooth start on this machine. You press down a hear a hum and then press again and it goes full speed until you lift your foot back off the pedal. Look for another machine, or better yet try one out at a sewing machine dealer to make sure it works smoothly. My machine is going to Goodwill.
Question:	Can I use my metal bobbins in my machine or do I need to use the plastic ones
Answer:	All top load machines use plastic bobbins except for older early singers with metal bobbin case,there is a magnetic ring attached to the hook center that holds the plastic bobbin case from rattling and to slow its movement, if you use metal bobbins they become held by the magnetic transfer through the bobbin case floor (metal) and limit or restrict bobbin rotation,if you remove the magnet you can use the metal bobbins,however it will be noisey and excelarate wear on the bobbin case
Question:	can this machine sew thru heavy duty canvas or leather
Answer:	I was able to use it to repair the canvas top of my gazebo. In fact, this the primary reason I purchased it. I tried using heavy duty "canvas" rated needles, but was far more successful with smaller standard duty needles even though one of them broke. There were times I had to coax it along when there were like 3 or 4 layers, but once it was going it would just keep on sewing the entire length.

Question:	Can you embroider with this machine
Answer:	Even though this machine is not an embroidery machine, you can learn to do beautiful embroidery work on it by learning free motion embroidery. In fact, one of the cool presser feet that comes with this machine is the open toe darning foot, which is a bonus!... People who wish to embroider, use this foot to do so. You Tube has many fine videos that will show you how to do free motion embroidery, on a regular machine, with just an everyday wooden hoop. Just type in free motion embroidery tutorials in the you tube search area, and you will be busy for hours, learning to this method. Enjoy!
Question:	Is this easy to use
Answer:	Depends what you want it for. Simple sewing like clothing or piecing quilt tops should be okay - putting quilts together NO! The throat is not big enough for free motion quilting and it doesn’t do well with bulky material. Your needle will snap, bobbin will have a nervous breakdown and you’ll get error codes that will make you want to pull your hair out when you try to clear them. But if you set on buying this model or the CS6000i here is the skinny - it is easy to use if you stick to the book or YouTube for help and FOLLOW the step by step instructions. It’s a cute machine for newbies but an albatross around experienced quilters necks

Answer:	Because it's a review, some reviews aren't anything more than "it sucks". But for only 150 people out of 2,000 people don't like or understand the machine, that's pretty damn good.

Answer:	This would be a GREAT machine for a beginner. I've sewn for at least 60 yrs and have had machines that cost as much as $2,000, and to me this is the best. I'm an avid believer that one should read the manual first and recommend for you to do this. You will be able to nicely grow into this machine and should have no regrets with the purchase. I love idea that you can sew without using a presser foot, but can control your stitches on the front of the machine. Love to be able to see when the bobbin is getting low, various speeds, even some decorative stitches for you. It's quiet, fun, light weight for taking to classes, or for my motorhome. Answer:	I purchased it for my 8 yr. old granddaughter, who had never used a sewing machine before, learning how much pressure to put on the pedal is the biggest challenge. I had practice on an ole piece of fabric.
