Answer:	I have been using this for diapers. 1. It's not perfect at containing odors, but it's acceptable for mild-smelling diapers (pee or breastmilk poop). It would not be acceptable for solids-eating baby poop. There is a faint odor near the can when it's opened even with mild-smelling diapers. 2. The plastic liner does get smelly, but it does not seem to absorb odor. A quick wipe down with a Lysol wipe has it smelling nice again when it happens (infrequently). I use this with plastic bags inside, though -- I don't use it with the plastic interior bin only.

Answer:	I use tall kitchen trash bags, the same I used with my other trash bins. You don't need specially sized bags for this beauty :)

Answer:	I use 13 gallon kitchen bags and they work great.
Question:	How are the bags intended to be secured to the bins? Can it be done neat and sturdy
Answer:	We use the traditional 13 gallon draw string and they stay up fine. Keeping them out of view took a moment, but I just tie a knot at the rim. There is a groove down the center of the side of the inserted bin and I align the knot with the groove so the container slides in and bag is invisible. I did however remove the little handle (just put it in the bottom under the bin if I should need it) because when removing the bin with bag that handle would get hung up. When these bags are gone, I'm going to buy the black stretchy/fitted bags and see if that eliminates the need to tie a knot.

Question:	Does the lid open all the way(straight up) when you step on the pedal or does it stop at an angle
Answer:	I'd say it opens fully with the foot pedal; straight up seems to be a fair term to I don't feel any restriction to accessing the trash bucket caused by the lid. You will be manually opening the lid further to remove the inner trash bucket to change the trash bag; but, its a natural motion you'll make. No significant effort necessary.
