Answer:	You can pull the foam pieces off and soak in water (assuming you are using it for acrylic paint, dye ink, or some other water-soluble medium) for a while and then rinse and let dry until next use. If you plan on using them frequently, having extra ones for each color makes life easier. Adding a handle/foam for each color for the colors you use frequently also makes using them easier. If you don't use them very frequently or use too many colors for any piece you are working on, this set will suit you just fine with the water rinse after uses. (Acrylic can dry in them and make them stiff if left to dry in them after use.)

Answer:	Pigment ink ALWAYS needs heat set. Buy a heat gun and set the ink. A heat gun is used for many things from drying inks to heat embossing powders. Pigment ink works ONLY on porous surfaces and needs heat set. Even if you allow it to "dry" on its own, it will smear because it needs heat. Especially the white inks.

Answer:	I’ve only used it on paper, but, since it’s water based, I’m sure it would lift some, or completely, depending on the surface. On a smooth surface, it would come off. On cloth, it may stain a bit, but the bulk of the color would come off
