| Answer: | This becomes a math exercise. 1 gallon of water weights ABOUT 8 pounds. It takes 1 Btu to raise that one pound of water by 1 degree F. Also consider that a 250,000 Btu heater actually will only deliver ABOUT 82% of that input Btu because it is not 100% efficient. So, multiply the number of gallons your pool holds by 8. This is the quantity of Btu you require to raise your pool 1 degree F. Example: I have a 12,000 gallon pool which equates to about 96,000 pounds of water. So a 250,000 Btu heater delivering (0.82 x 250,000) 205,000 Btu will raise my pool about 2 degrees in one hour (205,000 divided by 96,000). Also consider that the natural gas line to your home has a certain capacity (in Btu or Therms (100,000 Btu)). |

| Answer: | One thing to look at is on the end of the motor there is a cap has 3 screws with power off remove the cap there is a capacitor inside disconnect the 2 wires and check the capacitor with a meter. If it's bad look on Digikey for replacement. If the cap checks good the blower motor bad. |

| Answer: | Yes, I installed one by myself. The only real challenge was reaching the nuts that holds the blower to the heater housing. You will need a 10" extension for your ratchet wrench. Also, you will have to re-attach the gas pipe to the new blower. Neither one of these things is difficult and can easily be done by most people. Other than that it fit in the space perfectly and all the electrical connections were identical. |

| Answer: | No they are not interchangeable. That is for a 400,000 BTU heater which the fan motor is the same, it has a different size air intake and they are not directly interchangeable. |

| Answer: | No. Pentair only sells this whole assembly. It's a good idea to replace it every 7 years or so anyway. They work like a radiator thermostat in your car. I have never seen the spring break before. Make sure you don't have too much salt in your pool if it is a salt pool. Should be around 2800-3400 PPM. Also if the pump is more than 2 horse power is would install a bypass line to relieve water pressure on the heater |

| Answer: | The heater does not have any mounting holes. The internal fan, which is quite a good size (and VERY quite), draws in air from the back through an approx. 5" round vent. With this in mind, the fan could be placed on a small wall hanging shelf (that would allow the rear fan vent to draw in air without obstruction; given that the back of the heater would have at least 2-3 inches of clearance). It would be very "do-able" and very easy to construct. In my opinion, using wood as material should not create any safety concerns, as the ENTIRE plastic housing is not even warm when the unit is on. Great question and idea! |

| Answer: | There is a knob/dial on the right side that should turn the unit on/off so the room stays at a set temperature, but it does not work the way it is supposed to. The room will be too hot before it shuts off and too cold before it starts up again. I definitely do not advise leaving it running when you go to sleep. |

| Answer: | 0051 is just the valve. 0051S is the 'kit'. Should include the small brass adapter and a length of clear hose. Generally these can come off of the old valve. I'd recommend you have a gas certified company complete any gas repairs. It's a safety thing. |
