Question:	I want headphones just to hear the game sound and dialogue. Will these work
Answer:	I don't know if it will work technically, but the adapter doesn't fit Xbox One controllers. It's specifically shaped for the curve of 360 controllers, stupidly enough. Perhaps it will fit if you shave off some plastic, but I wouldn't bother.

Answer:	If your xbox is 1ft from your wireless router I would use an ethernet connection to prevent any additional noise. Most wireless routers have several ports for wired connections. Otherwise, keep the cables away from other noise sources for the headset control box, I recommend tying the wires up in a bundle to keep from acting like an antenna for other devices or noise sources nearby.
