The needle that comes with the kit is large and plastic and does require a scissor for snipping the ends once the yarn hair is fastened. My granddaughter loves these puppets and we enjoy hours of fun both making them and playing with them.

Answer:	I don’t know what people mean by “a lot” of assembly. You slide in the back axle, attach the back wheels with a pin. Then 8 very easy screws for the front axle attachment and pop on those wheels. Turn it over, put in the seat with 2 screws and pop in a bunch of accessories. If you can follow the directions on the book, the 14 screws, 6 washers and 4 pins take about an hour and a half from opening box to being cleaned up.
