MultiMix 4 USB FX is a four channel desktop mixer with a USB audio interface that lets you mix live or in the home studio, and record audio directly to a computer. Plug It In

The MultiMix 4 USB FX mixer has four input channels, all of which can accept a 1/4inches line input. You can plug XLR microphones into channels one and two, including condensers thanks to the selectable 48V phantom power supply. You can also plug a guitar or bass directly into channel two's switchable high impedance DI input. A stereo, 1/4inches headphone output has its own level control for private monitoring.



Get in the Mix

Ideal for live sound engineering or home recording, MultiMix 4 USB FX features onboard volume, pan, and EQ controls for making quick, accurate adjustments to your mix. The MultiMix 4 USB FX mixer has a two-channel, five-stage, multicolor LED meter for visual monitoring the main output level. Channels one and two offer switchable high-pass filtering at 75Hz to reduce low-frequency rumble, handling and wind noise. Channels one and two provide high- and low-shelving EQs, independent gain trims, and have independent pan controls. For convenient stereo mixing and recording, channels three and four are configured as a stereo pair at the level and pan controls.



Record Via USB

MultiMix 4 USB FX contains a complete USB recording audio interface. Plug the MultiMix 4 USB FX’s class-compliant USB connection into your Mac or PC without the need for software drivers and enjoy a digital-direct stereo connection with virtually any audio software application. The MultiMix 4 USB FX enables bidirectional stereo playback, so you can record the stereo Main output into your computer and listen back using the mixer as an interface from software to headphones and monitoring loudspeakers. Plus, you can record stereo audio directly to your iPad with the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit (sold separately).

MultiMix 4 USB FX comes with high-quality Alesis DSP effects that include spacious reverbs, delays, phasers and much more. Question:	What is the difference between the main out, and monitor out? Can I control two sets of speakers, and a headphone volume independently with this mixe
Answer:	Think of it like a concert, Main Out is the speakers the crowd would hear. Monitor Out is the speakers turned backwards that the musicians hear. Headphone Out is what the producer behind the mixer listens to. And yes, you can control the volume on all three of those outputs independently from each other.
Question:	I'm looking to do live mutitrack recording. does the usb interface send more then one stereo master track
Answer:	Evening... I downsized from the Multimix 4 to a two-channel mixer, basically used for my audio book recordings. If memory serves me correctly, this does offer 2 track in/out via the bus (stereo, of course). Sorry I couldn't be of more help...have you checked out the specs at places such as B&H, Sweetwater, zZounds and so on?

Question:	Can I use this to connect a bands instruments, bass, guitar, and vocals to the computer and record them all live at the same time
Answer:	Yes. Up to 4 instruments can be mixed into a stereo output that can go to stereo headphone and EITHER 2 speakers, a PC via a USB2 cable or to another device via Bluetooth wirelessly. There is a digital selector in top center. The USB2 can apparently also be used as input as there are playback control buttons as well. Have not tested. Note that the 2 odd looking inputs in the upper left corner are intended for mics and can take either XLR 1/4" phone plug connectors.

Answer:	The instructions say that it includes a built in sound card; however, no matter what I do, I cannot get any microphone to cooperate with this mixer to record on a PC. While I plug and unplug the cable, feedback will record, but no voice will travel from the mic through the mixer and into the PC.

Question:	Can you use a USB headset with this
Answer:	We found that if you have the GoXLR, and a USB headset, that we can still get the sound over. Put a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cord from the headset output on the GoXLR, and into the Line In port on the back of a computer. Then, use the 'Listen to this device' option in the sound settings to redirect sound from 3.5mm Line In, and output to the USB headset. Can use a guide like https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/126383-listen-microphone-through-playback-device-windows.html to see the process. Couple things to note - If you hear a buzzing or feedback, you may need to get a quality 3.5mm Ground Noise Loop isolator, and be sure to get a quality 3.5mm cable, otherwise the sound may sound a bit degraded.

Question:	Is the headphone jack on this for monitoring your inputs, or does your PC audio come through it aswell
Answer:	Hi, You can monitor your inputs and listen to playback from your computer simultaneously, which allows you to create overdubs with next to zero latency. You can either choose to monitor the inputs using the Direct Monitor switch, or you can use the Input Monitor feature in your DAW. If using the Direct Monitor feature the input signal will be passed directly to the line and headphone outputs, whereas if you use the Input Monitor feature in your DAW, you will be hearing the audio you're recording back from your DAW. Question:	Does the XLR input only record audio to the left side
Answer:	Hi, When recording a single microphone, you should ensure that you create a mono audio track in your DAW instead of a stereo audio track. When you record onto a mono audio track, the output from that track will be heard on both sides of your headphones or speakers (ensuring the output is set to stereo), however, if you record onto a stereo track, the audio will just be recorded onto the left side of a stereo file and you will ony hear it on the left of your headphones/speakers. Answer:	I haven't tried it, but I would think you would need to convert from your RCA to 1/4" banana plug type adapters such as the Hosa Cable GPR101 RCA To 1/4 Inch TS Adaptor - 2 Pack. (Search it on Amazon). You need to connect it as an audio source, the RCA plugs on these don't seem to do much but give you sound through the headphones coming back in so for example if you were using a metronome to keep time while laying down a bass groove, you wouldn't actually be passing that metronome click back through to your recording, just the headphones...

Answer:	This does NOT have traditional phantom power, which is normally 48v for condenser microphones. Their website says “18v phantom power,” and I don't know of any condenser mic that uses 18v.

Answer:	Yes you can. Their is a "Line In" (1/4" jack) to accomplish this connection. You also (as on many audio device) will need to select "LINE" on the Input Channel (#1) which allows the device to format to the instrument Input Level. I have used this to record into my Computer Audio Software.
Question:	Will this act as a digital to analog converter for my studio monitors
Answer:	Actually I think it will, if you mean that you want to use it as an audio interface with your computer

Answer:	No cables where not included, I had to convert my 1/8" to 1/4 with an adapter, then I had to buy 1/4in male Y-cable but your needs could be different, all of the connections are 1/4inch if you look closely at the picture. As for usb mic, unless you are able to find a converter that will convert to 1/4inch you cant use it, or you will have to buy a new mic because when you get into using so many converters, in my experience, the sound isnt as good bad quality so I wouldn't recommend this. Answer:	Here's what the manual states: The XENYX mixer line has built-in USB connectivity, allowing stereo signals to be sent to and from the mixer and a computer. The audio sent from the mixer to a computer is identical to the MAIN MIX. Audio being sent to the mixer from a computer can be routed to the main mix with the 2-TR/USB TO MAIN button. Connect the USB type B plug into the USB jack on the mixer, and the other end into a free USB port on your computer. There are no required drivers, but we recommend that PC users install the included ASIO driver. The driver can also be downloaded from behringer.com.I don't know what OS you are using, but you might want to make sure that your computer is set up for stereo input/output via your preferences. You could also check to see if you have the correct drivers installed from Behringer, and lastly, make sure you have the 2TR/USB to MAIN properly depress and you can also route it to a set of headphones via the SOURCE 2TR/USB. Also not sure if this is what you are hearing through headphones or mains (?). Are your main channels routed independently? So when you say USB Out, is that from a stereo source or from the PA?

Answer:	Hello, 2x4 means that you have a stereo send to the computer and two stereo returns from your computer. The stereo output (1-2) to your computer can be used for recording, VOIP, etc, and you can return two distinct stereo tracks (1-2, 3-4) from your Mac/PC giving you the ability to route audio from different applications (DAW, Spotify, Youtube, etc) or sources (.mp3/WAV playback) from within your computer.
Question:	I see that the mackie profx12v3 has a 48v phantom power switch. can non-phantom and phantom mikes be used at the same time? one be on, others off
Answer:	Yes. Condenser microphones often require 48V phantom power. When the 48V phantom power switch is engaged on ProFX series mixers all channels have this extra voltage available. With phantom power, the voltage is effectively invisible to balanced microphones that do not use it, which includes most dynamic microphones.

Question:	When connected via USB to a Win 10 PC, how many playback/recording devices does this show up as? One each, or multiple for the multiple inputs/output
Answer:	On my Windows 10 64 bit system, it shows up as one recording device and one playback device. I find that there may be a couple of places where you need to enable the device -- you can set it as the default device in your audio settings, but some programs such as Audacity seemed to require setting the playback and recording device there also. Also, to hear the microphone that you plug into the K3+, it seems you have to push the "monitor" button and have the volume up some on the K3+ headphone channel you are listening to as well as making sure the K3+ is selected in your computer settings/program as the microphone and playback devices.
Question:	When i'm using the auto tune feature (set to any key) it makes my voice sound as if i am standing in a bathroom. is this fixable
Answer:	Auto-Tune creates special "electric voice" effect while "-" represents a flat tone. You may want to switch to Reverb Select - Auto Tune mode to select a preferred room environmental effect also. Adjust both accordingly and see if it will make any difference. Question:	How does the usb out select section work? What are the routing paths possible? (The user 'manual' does not provide much informatiom
Answer:	From the mixer to PC there are 4 channels and you can select to send M1, M2, M3, M4 or M1, M3, AUX, FX or M1, M2, L, R, where M1-M4 are mixer input mono channels 1 through 4, AUX and FX are the busses, and L/R are the main mix outputs.From PC to the mixer is less felxible. ST2 (mixer's stereo input 2) receives USB 1/2, but if you plug cable into to ST2 on the mixer USB 1/2 is disconnected and you cannot use USB 1/2. USB 3/4 always go mixer's ST3 channel.
Question:	Does it support multitrack recording with a daw? if so, how many tracks can be recorded simultaneously via usb using a daw
Answer:	Yes and 4. There are some limitations on what those four tracks are. The options are: 1) Ch 1, Ch2, Ch3, Ch4 2) Ch1, Ch2, Main L, Main R 3) Ch1, Ch2, Aux bus send, FX bus send It can sometimes take a bit of jiggery pokery to record exactly (and only) the bits you want.

Question:	How do i eq from rca inputs? rca inputs/outputs doesn't have eq settings like the other channels have
Answer:	ALTO support here! The RCA aux inputs don't have the option of EQing. If you prefer EQing the audio, I would recommend using a cable that has 2 1/4" connections so you can plug your audio source to channel 5/6. This will allow you to play your stereo signal through a channel on the mixer with EQ options. Question:	How to remove aux/Channel 2/3 or 4/5 audio input from main mix out but leave mic 'phone monitoring and output enabled
Answer:	I have a different Model of Mixer but I'll try although I'm not clear about the meaning of your question. The Mic Channel (1) and Line Input Channels (2/3 and 4/5) are always assigned to the Main Output and the Headphones. The AUX Inputs (L and R Phonos) can be sent to the Headphones and The Main Mix with the switches above the Headphone Volume Control. Since I don't know what result you're trying to achieve, this may not be the reply you want, sorry.

Answer:	The ZMX52 5-channel will not work as a speaker amp. Nor can you connect passive speakers to this mixer .
Question:	I have separate dj & karaoke setups & need a sound mixer (fx) exclusively for my karaoke player & mic's to powered speakers. is this a best option
Answer:	I have used this mixer for that exact application & it works great. I suggest taking the music into a pair of the channels that could be used for mics. I prefer this because you get the three levels of EQ when you do that. These controls work very well.
