Answer:	I have not tried to wash it in a washing machine. It has a soft stuffing in the head and nose. It's a kind of fleece sort of material. What I have used and it works well for me is dry shampoo. If it's for children, you might try just washing by hand if it gets really messy. I hope that answers your question. I've never really looked at tags on this one. I use it for little puppet shows and call it Rosie. Have fun making a personality for this fun puppet.
