Answer:	I purchased this for my granddaughter, who is 5, but it is a Christmas present so I have not given it to her yet. Judging from the toy itself and the video I have seen, it looks as if some of the features may be too advanced for a 2 year old. However, it is a beautiful toy and I'm sure she would love it even if she can't take advantage of all the features just yet. The nice thing is that is as a toy that she can grow in to. She will still be playing with it in a couple of years, I'm sure. Finding a toy that will grow with a child is always a bonus in my book! I don't think either of you would be disappointed, and Amazon definitely has the best price!
