Answer:	When it us mounted as instructed, the arm does not raise high enough for a 16 oz can. You need to secure maybe a piece of 2x4 behind the base. Then the arm extends fully. This is not mentioned in the instructions.

Answer:	Our crusher works fine not mounted. The trick is to dent the can a little bit before crushing. Its almost impossible to crush the can if it's not dented a bit. I am very petite and not very strong, but I have no problem using the crusher on our countertop with a dented can. So glad I took a chance and bought this!

If only mounted to the wall as mine is, I could see it tearing loose if used to crush something made of heavier metal, such as soup cans. Again, this is only conjecture on my part, but based on sound principles of physics.

Answer:	Yes, the screws are included. Keep in mind they are quite long about 3" and must be screwed into a stud please pre drill the holes. The mount orientation of the screws are vertical so that you will only need to find one stud. You will need a Number 3 phillips head screw driver, the common #2 used most will make installation difficult. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The tabs on the side that held the handle in the upright position on the original model were not very robust and seemed to fail for many causing the handle to fall down after use. The model that you are purchasing addressed this issue years ago, so the answer to your question is yes. I have had mine since the original review that I wrote to now and not one failure. Still works like the day I bought it at least 6 years ago. I think it has been that long maybe longer, this thing won't die. Been through thousands of cans and hundreds of dollars back in my pocket. Hope this helps

Answer:	The "tall-boy" cans don't fit. This works best with your typical 12 oz. can, but I was able to a regular sized red-bull can which are a little taller than a 12 oz. can. Anything taller and it won't fit in the crushing mechanism.

With it's child safety stops, it is easy for all the family to use. The system is auto dispensing so cans drop automatically in to the collection bin and you do not need to touch sharp and sticky crushed cans. It can turn approximately 4 bags of uncrushed soda, Beer or other cans into 1 bag. The collection bin can hold up to 48 cans. This product is proudly made in USA. Answer:	I believe it is made to attach to the wall or something that is very sturdy.
Question:	Does it automatically drop into the bin
Answer:	No. The one I purchased only crushes 12 oz. cans and smaller even though the description said otherwise.
Question:	Can I use it out side but store it in my shed
Answer:	This only applies to flat aluminum cans. If you squash other metal cans, the service life will be shortened.
Question:	Will is also crush plastic bottles? They take up even more space than the aluminum ones
Answer:	Yes, it must be mounted. It has mounting holes, so it can be connected to solid surfaces such as walls, cabinets, wall nails, trees, fences, etc. When crushing aluminum cans, you need to apply force on the handle of the crusher, so it needs to be firmly installed.

Answer:	dont think think this will do that. its for 12 oz aluminum drink cans.
Question:	Can you crush dog food cans
Answer:	Yes, it's one of the best purchases I've ever made... As long as you spray some lubricant on the joints once a year it works like a dream come true. Drops right on the removable bin.
Question:	Where is this product made in? Does it come with any warranty
Answer:	YES, but you need to mount it on a board so it can be hung on a nail or screw for easy securing for use. I mounted mine on a 1" x 4" board with screws then added metal "U" shaped hooks on top of board so I can hang it on my Van's rain gutters, did 12,000 cans last summer.
Question:	What agree the dimensions of the base
Answer:	no, it doesnt have the inside space required to crush most plastic bottles.
