Answer:	I wear a 6 1/2 - which is what I bought and they're a little snug. I would buy a 7 1/2 if I were you. I think they run a half-size small.

Answer:	At the very top of the boot shaft measured around the outside it is exactly 15". I have stick calves that measure 13" around and with my skinny jeans they are almost a perfect fit, just a little bit looser than I'd like but it's impossible to find narrow calf boots. So I really could use a bit bigger calf and they'd be the perfect fit. For size reference, my boots are a size 7.5

Answer:	Like all leather soled boots they are slick until you wear them a little while and rough up the sole. I would say you won't have any less traction than any other real leather boot. They obviously won't be like a rugged terrain boot with lots of traction, but I have worn all my leather sole boots in icy conditions and didn't feel they were slicker than any regular shoe. If you break them in well I would think you'd be ok.

Answer:	What size are your boots going to be? I ordered an 11 but I should have gotten a 10. My calf is 14" but the leather is super soft and is not tight at all around my calf. I'm also 6 foot so everyone is different. The boots are very comfortable and look great with shorts, jeans or a dress. I'm a huge Bed Stu Fan!

Answer:	They are very light, especially the shaft, which is a bit thinner leather and perforated. But even though it is thinner, it is still substantial. I will most likely wear these more through the spring than my heavier boots.

Answer:	It seems tight when you try them during the three first times, but then the leather turns flexible. I usually buy 9.5 boots to have extra space for thick socks, but by reading the reviews I went for 8.5 and that size fit perfect. No problem about the lengths.

Answer:	I wear a 7.5 but usually order an 8 in boots just in case I want to wear thick socks but I had heard that these tend to stretch out so I ordered a 7.5 and they're perfect. So I would say that if you like your boots snug I would go with a 6.5 or if you like a little more room like I do go with 7. Good luck!

Answer:	They do grip very well. While I am only a passenger on motorcycle rides, I did notice the first time I wore the boots that they are great on all surfaces. I would wear them on a motorcycle ride anytime (even if I were the driver).

Answer:	To follow up, I ended up buying and using Leather Honey leather conditioner (bought here on Amazon), and it's worked wonderfully on the Black Lux Glaye boots, as the leather seemed very dry. I did a lot of research, as many products said not to use on distressed leather finishes, but Leather Honey can!
