Answer:	Our almost 4 year old barely plays in it. I think a 4 year old would fit fine, if your kid is big I am not so sure. Also this sandbox is kinda flimsy, it's made out of balsa wood, kinda like model airplanes.

Answer:	Person who answered you need 3 x 25lb bags is wrong. You need at least 6 x 25lb bags of sand or preferably 8 to have sandpit filled close to halfway mark

Answer:	Happy to help. There is no wooden bottom; there is a clear, plastic liner which has drainage holes to let water drain down from the sand and through the liner. You assemble the box, place the plastic liner in and secure it to the corners, then fill with sand. There is also a handy cloth mesh cover you can place over the sand to keep the sand in if it's really windy, etc.

Answer:	I am not sure the exact type. It is a lightweight wood similar to pine. I purchased a tarp for mine and have had it outdoors since December and it is seemingly holding up pretty well, I love in the south so no cold weather to deal with, but we have had a fair amount of rain and again is seems to be weathering okay this far, but it's only rally been 5 months.

Answer:	I started with 500lbs of sand and that filled the sandbox less than half way. I got 400 more lbs and that was perfect for what we wanted (about 3/4 full). It all depends on how full you want it.

Answer:	We used about 4 or 5 bags of sand we got from Lowes. It seemed to fill it up nice and accounted for some of the sand that ended up out of the sandbox while they were playing. Also, I recommend getting the regular sand. The white sand does not blend in well with the ground around the sandbox when it gets spilled over.

Answer:	Not hard. The pieces interlock fairly easily, and there’s enough play in the joints where you can get things to slip into place without much trouble. It took me around an hour or so.

Answer:	I have Kinetic sand in mine because ours is in the house. The excavator doesn't really pick up the sand because the sand is too heavy. The kids don't seem to care and still play with it.
