We appear to be left with an example of intentionally evil commercial genius which (accepting my 20% product loss estimate) increases the price per usable ounce by 25%. Fortunately I saved my old 7.0 ounce glass bottle, so I'm still good purchasing and using what remains an otherwise excellent product.
