| Answer: | yes it sits on the side of our pool deck and beyond onto the grass. We use and outdoor mat to stop muddy and grassy feet from getting into the pool. Also we use a gym mat to rest it on, especially the front face. If kids are active and bounce down the pool they will hit the edge of the pool - not hard but I felt better with the 3/4inch rubber mat. It also moves around quite a bit if you don't tie it down in moderate wind - we tied a container filled with 5gallons of water to keep it in place. It is a pretty fun slide for kids 7 & under. Also - watch out for kids getting under the slide - there is lots of space for a few kids to sit on the deck under the slide and could be dangerous if another kid bounces down the slide - it is also quite worrying if the kids disappear. Just so you know. We love it but supervise it closely. |
