Answer:	We returned ours as the white drawing area was peeling off in the folds/creases. So while I do not know for certain if it can be washed or not, I would probably not recommend it be washed. Answer:	It completely depends on the child. I got this for my son when he was 18 months, and it's been a huge hit. It has 6 buckles and a zipper.
