Question:	Do you have to saw the bottom feet at an angle? what would happen if i don't? could i just bury the feet in the ground a little
Answer:	No you don’t have to saw the feet at an angle. We just bought the length of board we wanted and slipped them in, set it up and was good to go. They will sink in the ground a bit over time.
Question:	what is the weight limit for these
Answer:	i’m not sure of the exact weight limit on these brackets but I can guarantee you they will hold up anything you put in them I have a 12 foot 4 x 6 which is so heavy i’ve looked at some of the commercial stuff available and at Home Depot and Lowe’s and they are made so much better welded all the way around there just superstrong they also fit the Timbers perfectly easy to work with. Answer:	When using a 4 x6 beam it is recommended 17.5 inches to 20 inches, the min. distance is 12 inches.
Question:	Is the hardware stainless steel

Answer:	They would also need to be 10'.
Question:	Can you use 2 4x6x8' with this bracket
Answer:	Not sure what your asking. The top accepts 4x6's, and the upward supports accept 4x4's(8'). You could use a 3rd or 4th bracket to attach 4x6x8' s to extend the length of the A frame. The brackets will support up to 12' 4x6.
Question:	Could I use middle brackets on the ends as well? I'm wanting to build a swingset for my kid within a tight footprint wanting to optimize my swingset
Answer:	I am not sure but in my opinion the end are made to lean legs out for support the middle are straight probably for support only
Question:	the product information states to use a 4x6 beam but one response was to use 2 2x6's. which is the correct lumber for the beam
Answer:	4x6 is the correct size, it makes a nice snug fit in the top beam sleeve. The actual dimensions of a 4x6 re 3-1/2" x 5 1/2". (2) 2x6's would only be 3" wide.

Question:	What is the angle the legs sre
Answer:	I assume this asking what angle to cut the legs at to keep them flat. I cut them on a miter saw at 22.5 degrees and it seems to be accurate.
Question:	can the 4x6 swing beam be slid through the bracket so that part of the beam sticks out a few feet? I can't tell in photo if the bracket is closed end
Answer:	Yes you can but for me the fit was extremely tight. I had to use a sledge hammer and some cardboard (to cushion the blow) in order to get the bracket onto the 4x6. I stopped once the wood was all the way in (flush with the end)...not sure how I could have gone any further with the fit so tight.
Question:	We don't know what the length of wood is required. We have our set laying on the ground with 12 foot 4x4's! LOL now we can't seem to stand it up
Answer:	I need to know the angle of the bracket. (I'm separating an existing swing set from play structure so want to use this bracket with 2 4x4's to make it free standing. I need it to be 86" tall and need to know what length 4x4 I need. The other end of my swing set has 104" 4x4 beams.)
Question:	Does anyone know how many swings can be hung from a 8 or 10 ft beam
Answer:	The manufacturer recommends 3 swings from a 10' beam. Hangers are on center at 18" from each of the beam, 18" between the hangers for each swing, and 15" of space in-between each of the 3 swings. They have a diagram here. Question:	Two questions: 1. how do i ascertain if i can screw these into my ceiling joists? and 2. where is the ebook installation guide
Answer:	1. Yes, since your ceiling joists are at least 2x8s. I recently used 1/2"x4-1/2" lag screws to attach four of them to a 16 ft. beam I made out of three 2x8s glued and bolted together - spans two trees. A 1/2" dia. lag is the biggest that will fit the holes. 2. I don't think you need any installation guide. Just measure, drill, and screw in the lags you choose. My beam is 12-1/2 ft. off the ground, so I put the hanger centers 30 in. apart. That ensures the swing(s) don't wobble or swivel - my granddaughter hates that. Your height may be different, but the hangers need to be farther apart than the width of the swing. These are GREAT hangers - VERY heavy duty and could hold a small elephant. They allow a swing to keep going with minimal effort - no friction. Perfect choice.
Question:	Can I use 3/8" x 8 in carriage bolts to hang this on a 4x6 for a wood playground? Is there something better
Answer:	The swing hangers do not come with hardware because the choices are so varied for the cusomer. They even say that in a letter included in the package. If you are comfortable suspending whatever swing you are going to use then carriage bolts will work. I used tempered steel bolts and heavy washers only because I know this application will be there a long time and the harware will last and not strip the wood. When I first hung the swings from our frames I used carriage bolts but I didn't care for the way the bolts seemed to loosen just a little. A hex bolt has been better for my piece of mind. I am VERY impressed by the swing hangers. They are quite heavy and make me feel quite comfortable about ordering more.

Answer:	Me personally I would not mount a swing to anything less then a 4 x 4 post. mounting it to a 2 x 4 drilling a hole all the way through will weekend the structural value of the 2 x 4.

HOW TO INSTALL GLIDER SWING BRACKET

1. Loosen up the screws on the angle brackets so that you are able to slip em’ around. 2. Get that bracket on the swing beam!

3. Mark the beam where the hole in the bracket is and drill through the beam with a 1/2’’ drill bit. 4. Shimmy the bolt on through the bracket and the beam.

5. Slide the angle bracket so that they are lined up nicely with the beam. 6. Throw on that washer and lock nut.

7. Make sure they are nice and tight and ready to Surf.

Question:	are the quick release hooks rated up to 2400lbs as well
Answer:	No. Its the cast iron bracket and swing hanger pieces that are apparently rated 2400lb.. Usually the hooks (variant caribener) are only rated a couple hundred pounds but its a 50/50 in these cases. I weigh 260lbs and these held up fine when I tested it out when I built my children's swing set.
Question:	Are these quite or squeaky
Answer:	They are ultra smooth, but a little squeaky at first, but after breaking in they get quiet. We really like them.

Answer:	No there is not a specific formula. We recommend the legs to be 8' for your average swing height.

Answer:	No this will only fit a 4x6 piece of lumber for the cross beam and 4x4's for the legs.

Answer:	Yes there is, I've yet to order one for my self. But i did run across them pricing the outer brackets. The bracket also had slots for two more legs to give middle support.
Question:	Top beam length .One says no more than 144” and another one says 114”.Which one is it
Answer:	I used 14 ft lumber for top, which is 168” and it works great, so don’t worry about 144”, assuming you are not going to use this swings for 4 adult overweight 400 lb gorillas. It’s all about total weight of users, not much about length of the top beam.
Question:	Are the screws okay to use with pressure treated lumber
Answer:	I used pressure treated wood recently. Worked fine.
Question:	What material and coating is the hardware? I’m wondering if it is safe to use with pressure treated wood. Should be galvanized or stainless for that
Answer:	I'm not a chemist or metallurgist so I can't address your question with authority but this product is designed to specifically be used with treated wood. Hot dipped galvanized or SS bolts are the only thing safe to use pressure treated wood.

Answer:	We've had our for less than a year. The manufacturer company over the phone said to seal it with a weather sealant before the first frost. I did. I used Olympic clear, and after our first winter, the swing set still looks great!

Answer:	The length of the 4X4 would depend of the weight , stress aplied or its use. The brackets are used to stabilize the twisting and lateral stress .For example I used a 16' 6X6 to build a swing set with 4 swings and a slide. It handled the stress of 4 kids swinging.
Question:	Are these painted on the inside as well
Answer:	I used 2 1/2 to 3 inch lag screws. I would take the piece with you to be sure they will fit through the holes. I used 4x4 treated timbers .

Our Swing Set Bracket makes building a swing set easier than ever! This heavy-duty bracket is constructed with steel. It is a one-piece design, open-ended and features welded seems. Weights 10 pounds and is finished in a powder-coated green color with Eastern Jungle Gym's signature yellow tag. The Swing Set Bracket is pre-drilled with 14 holes for easy and quick installation.

Sling Swing Seat And Ring Trapeze Bar Combo

This swing set kit includes three swing set swings - two sling swings and one ring trapeze bar combo. All swings feature 2/0 straight-coil swing chains that are zinc-coated, and partially coated in yellow plastisol for a soft, pinch-free grip. The swings come completely assembled and ready to install. Simply attach the swing chains to the swing hangers using the included mountain clips. All swings are heavy-duty and can support the weight of both children and adults!

Answer:	The toddler swing should fit in place of 1 regular swing. I don’t know about the saucer swing.

Answer:	We weren’t able to find a slide to attach to the side. It would work if you can find one.

Answer:	I never received this set. Only anchors usually is to cement the legs for wieght or don’t push the limits to where it flips.
