Question:	Do you have to use all of the stake pieces or can you omit some and make it shorter? Thanks
Answer:	I believe you should be able to omit one or two pieces, however the closer to the ground it is the less likely I think it is to spin!
Question:	I did not receive assembly instructions. Where do the metal small rings go and which end do you put the piece of stake with the rounded end at
Answer:	The metal rings are lock washers that go between the spinner blade and the small decorative hub. the rounded stake is the top section of the stake and the assembled spinner unit sets on it. Some of the wind spinners sold on amazon have videos of how to assemble them. I would suggest that you look for them. All the wind spinners are essentially assembled the same.

Answer:	Make sure it sits on there loosely. Ensure there is nothing protruding in the inner circle. (Paint, metal, etc) sand if necessary or spray it with some WD40. Assemble it according to the instructions. Mine spins beautifully with the slightest breeze.

Answer:	Yes, it is all metal. The bearings are sealed and should work below 0C. Mine have survived at ~ -5C this winter.

Answer:	I did in fact place the spinner post over a piece of tubing to help keep it stable in my heavy back yard winds, but I don't recall the diameter measurement. I think that 5/8" rebar would be accommodated.

Answer:	Same problem. Look at one of the older reviews online. A reviewer was nice enough to post pictures on how to assemble. Should only take about 5 minutes once you see how to do it.

Question:	What is the outside diameter of the pole
Answer:	At the base it measures 3/4” and graduates to 5/8” at the bottom bearings of the swirling structure. Hope that helps you.
Question:	Is there any way you can cover it up or stop it from spinning? (Like in preparation for a bad storms
Answer:	i would not really think so, but you could easily unscrew the top section of the rod and bring the rotating part inside. i would also think that if you covered it, heavy wind would catch the covered part like a sail and do more damage then letting it spin. were i live we don't have storms that are bad enough to damage it, but if you were expecting a hurricane separating the pole and bringing the top in would be best.
Question:	Need help. The top part keep falling not sure is is not screwed properly or to much wind
Answer:	Mine did that a couple of times when I first installed it. Each time I just screwed it back in, trying to be sure it didn't "unwind" itself. Then it lasted several years. Just last week we had amazing non-stop winds for days and it fell off again. I screwed it back in and it's been fine. Somehow I think the rotating parts sort of need to loosen up compared to the screwed on parts - or maybe it got turned the wrong way too much. Anyway, my recommendation would be to just screw it back in as tightly as you can and hope it gets bette.
Question:	I assembled the product as per the instrutionybut it does not swivel in a lite breezes
Answer:	I have 2 different styles of these. The larger one like you assembled seems to require a stronger breeze than the smaller one that I have. You need to make sure that the nut on the top of the larger one is not too tight and I usually spray the ballbearing with something like wd40 at least once a year. Mine two work well doing this. Large Size kinetic copper wind sculpture with a theme of Dancing Willow Leaves. In comparison to our regular size sculptures, this sculpture is both 50% taller and wider. Its pole is also 50% thicker. It stands 9 ft tall. Its wheels are 3-ft across. The leaves are oriented in a way that enables two wheels to spin elegantly in opposite directions at all times. The entire wind sculpture including the pole and its fixture is made of pure copper with brass hardware. The only metal is the stainless steel ball bearings that are completely covered by brass hardware. Two ball bearings make the dual spinners move independently and always in opposite directions. A third bearing makes the kinetic sculpture swivels 360 degrees in the wind. The unit spins in the slightest breeze. The pole is made of heavy gauge copper and secured into the ground by an all copper 4-point anchoring system. With its heavy-duty construction and swiveling head, this kinetic sculpture can withstand strong winds up to 50 mph. The copper leaves and arms are not coated and will age naturally. If you want to preserve its original copper shine, you may spray a layer of clear coat on it. We have had great success with clear coats made by Rust-Oleum and Permalac (Peacock Labs). The craftsmanship on this wind sculpture is impeccable. The wheels are finely balanced and maintenance free. The sculpture is entirely weatherproof and made to last for decades. Question:	does this turn in different directions even in a very light wind
Answer:	Do not know, but it is nice. It requires zero maintenance and has lasted many years. We love it.
Question:	Can the pole be cut to decrease 9' height
Answer:	So. We live right on a salt marsh on skidaway island in savannah Georgia. Have had wind sculpture for 3 years and the fittings are just like the day we got it. That said of course the copper weathers to a rich patina color as you would expect
Question:	Is this a Lyman Whitaker design
Answer:	These kits come with 8 chrome steel ball marbles but you can buy more - amazon has them, just be sure to get the correct size 11mm or 3/8".
Question:	I live in Florida, my concern is brass fittings, does the salt air corrode any of the fittings
Answer:	They are actually steel 1/4" ball bearings
