Answer:	From what I see in the pics, no difference. However, the workmanship in the Jenga blocks themselves has decreased in the last 20 something years. Newer productions are less "squared up". I noticed this due to the fact that I used Jenga blocks as a lab tool for statistics classes.

Answer:	No. All of the pieces are cut differently. The pieces are very large, however. We love this puzzle. Vibrant colors.
