Answer:	The tip became permanently glued on after a few uses, so I just unscrew the whole top part and apply glue with a toothpick. It's much easier to control that way anyhow. And it doesn't seem to be drying out.

Answer:	It would depend on the application with water after the bonding of the part as too how effective it would be but water would not affect the bond

Answer:	I am an African art collector; often times I have to repair items that have been damaged in transport from far away places to me and have to be repaired. As well, I am a multi-media artist and frequently use glue in my creations. Having tried many different types of glues, I can say that this is the best one yet. However, although I have not testes this glue on vinyl, I would not doubt that it will do the job. The only word of caution is this: Loctite glue works very fast and once applied, it is practically impossible to reposition the surfaces you have applied it to. So, get your ducks in order and be precise because you only get one chance (no chance for correction). I think it is the real deal.I hope my review has been helpful.P.S.
