Answer:	When you connect the red wire from the rear camera to the reversing light lamp or reverse parking sensor, the image of backup camera will automatically switch over the full screen on front camera and the cam will display the reverse parking images. If you don't connect the red wire, the rear camera record the video. In this case, the rear video will show up in the upper right of the display (of course you can choose the mode you like) . I'm not familiar with MERV, but any claim made must be backed up with whatever required proof. I'm guessing the folds are a way to maximize flow volume by presenting more filter area to the air. I will state that these are much less expensive and last longer, and are better constructed than some name brand filters I see at retail with much higher price. My guess is that those are not more expensive to make but are sold by peeceived benefit basesd on their brand marketing and dominance of shelf space.
