| Answer: | The measurement on SIZE 8 1/2 2E at the opening at the toe is 1 inch. Measurement at the highest point on the top or the foot from sole to top is 3 and 1/2 inches. When I flatten down the shoe at the highest point it measures a little less than 5 inches across. I bought these shoes last year but have only worn them twice in the house and NEVER in public. The area at the arch creates a suction with my foot and it sounds like farting with every step. Image how embarrassing. I had hoped this would go away after wearing a time or two but it DID NOT. Such a waste of money. |
