Answer:	Because there are multiple bag sizes and the color you selected is only available in a 30 inch bag. The bag came with a shoulder strap . The bag is really nice for the money. I am happy with it.

Answer:	I carry about 60 pounds in mine and it seems to handle that much nicely. However the down side of my duffel is that the main zipper blew out the second time that I used it. Bottom line the zippers on this duffel are cheap.

The bag weighs 25-35 lbs when loaded up and I have not had any sagging issues. It should easily handle 4 boxes of shells. Overall I'm extremely pleased with the quality and utility of the bag.
