Answer:	We purchased 2 of them for our twin grandchildren when they were between 18 months and 2 years old. They use them daily and love them, they'll soon be 3! Great fun and good coordination builder!

Answer:	The instructions say 42 pounds, but in a lot of ways the real limit is height: there's only so much sitting room, and my 4 1/2 year-old struggles to fit on it well enough to spin.

Answer:	Yes. Real wood. Precisely cut and holes where they belong. I did treat it with waterproofing (Thompson's). I like the quality and size.
