Answer:	I think they are the same thing - only "for kids" has fewer cards in a smaller box. When I pulled up Apples to Apples Kids on Amazon, it actually said Jr. on the box in the picture. But I have Junior and it is a large box with tons of cards. There are even simpler worded cards than Jr. in the Disney version, 7&Up version, etc. I use Jr. with my 6th graders and it is perfect - without any unwanted cultural references like the regular "adult" game. Its a really nice wok spatula , I have several pieces I bought by the same company and they're all great . No complaints at all .

Answer:	It actually means "food". 食 is the character in case you want to search for more about it. Was fairly tricky to find/identify because there is a small stroke near the top that is completely hidden by the head of the nail holding the metal plate on to the handle.
