Its on top of the lower small grill (first grill?) but under the large top grill. there are two grills. one is for the bottom and one is for the top. you open up the frame and put the small grill at the bottom. then you put your coals there light them up and then you cover it up with the top grill. and this is the shiny grill you see in the picture. |

| Answer: | The size of the cubes are indicated right on the box and in the description as 2.5mm or 1 inch cubed. It’s a great size because it makes it very easy to start the hookah and thereafter for heat maintenance. The head that I use is very large so I start with 4 cubes to get it started then reduce it to 3 and few minutes later reduce it to 2, thereafter in about 30 minutes I add the 3rd coal and about 15 minutes later the fourth. So with these four cubes and proper heat management I can smoke for approximately 1 full hour of constant smoking. |

| Answer: | They are level - surfaced with a texture of other filters. You will need to cut out to size based on your litter box. There is a paper size pattern you select from multiple sizes. I take the old one out and size up on the pattern needed. Then lay the paper pattern on the new filter and cut. My size litter box which is a larger one, takes 2 filters and I only get one filter replacment per new filter. Very easy to cut and replace. |
