Cover either the photo or the letters and ask the child to identify what is covered, but don't let this review detract from the fun of the game. If you take a peek at alphabet books for little children, you will see a picture that begins with the letter on that particular page, helping the child learn the sounds of letters.

Answer:	I don't have the game What's Gnu. Based upon the description, they seem very similar. The different seems to be that Zingo Word Builder has three words per card and is played more like a challenge game. What's Gnu seems to be true world building, card by card. I purchased Zingo because I have multiple Zingo games in my classroom. Once the students learned to play one game, they could easily figure out how to play Zingo 1-2-3, Word Builder, Sight Word, etc. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Having played this game (for the first time just yesterday), I really don't think that people will develop a "code". Kind of like Dixit, it is pretty free association for the images. Since the what, where, and who are random with a number of combinations and there are quite a few pictures, it will be very difficult to line up patterns all that much. I found it was pretty hard, in most cases, for the "ghost" to pick a good picture, so most of the selections were quite "out there". A lot of free association and using what other players were selecting to reduce the number of choices, it was a bit more possible to narrow things down.I believe that this will be a very replayable game but I also expect that after a few games, the players will get better at both picking pictures to associate and figuring out what the picture might mean, but not so much because of the selection of pictures but more because the thinking processes for both the ghost and the players will become more refine through learning how to pick.Overall, I find it to be a pretty good game.DaveBoardgames4us

Players triangulate where the Jack player is based on where he has been. Sometimes there is only one solution. Pure logic. Mysterium's gameplay is all about INDUCTIVE reasoning. There can be more than one possible solution and gameplay is about getting inside another player's head to understand the solution they chose. Both Fabulous games. Mysterium is more accessible and family friendly. Non-gamers can get into it right away, while Whitechapel is more demanding. Whitechapel is more similar to Fury of Dracula, another great game that has just been republished.

Answer:	Hey, the game is pretty simple. Each player gets 20-30 cards, depending on how many are playing. Each turn players play just with the front card (country) of their deck. Player on the turn has to pick one fact from his country card that he thinks is the strongest one, i.e. population, other players have to check if their front cards (countries) have a bigger number under population. Player with the highest population wins the turn, collects all the cards from that turn, puts them at the back of his deck and continues the turn. Player on the turn always has an option of calling a CHALLENGE. In that case, he has to recognise an opponent's flag, name the capital city or show the opponents country on the map, depending which game mode they are playing. Answer:	LOL- I bet you got ours! We opened ours at Christmas and didn't have any fox icon (no big deal) or clue cards (couldn't play). I contacted Playwright and they said they could send replacements in 2-4 weeks.

Answer:	This jr version was worth it to me for my 5 year old because the game lasts closer to 30 minutes from start to finish which is better for his age child to stay focused. Also he can understand all the concepts involved. We’ve tried the regular version now that he gets the jr completely and he’s still not totally ready for it. I think it’s great for ages 5-8. Then they’ll want to move up.

Answer:	I have a 4 year old and a 7 seven year old. Youngest is able to play with some assistance. Older can play with minimal to no assistance. Although, older one has been able to play regular Monopoly with little assistance, too. Is very basic, just $1 bills, simplified instructions. We will keep playing this jr version until the youngest kid can handle the original version (maybe when he is around 7 years).

The doctor cards and money (which are not in the new version) add an element that makes the classic version a more complete game all around.
