Answer:	Yes they did come in a capped tube, but were also in a box with no bubble wrap. The box & tube I got was damaged & more then 1/2 were already glowing & many more didn't work. If you get them I hope you have better luck then me & many others did.

Answer:	These are one time use. I'm not certain they would be sturdy enough to stay on a dog. Perhaps you could find a way to stick on the dogs collar with duct tape and replace as it runs out.

Answer:	These are great and I believe the thickness is about 1/4" or so. These were well packaged, we found that all were working; i.e. 'no duds' and compared with the prices of other vendors these necklaces were no only a bit longer than most; 18", the prices were 70 cents each for 18" outside of Amazon and I think that I figures out that through Amazon the 22" necklaces ran about 35 - 40 cents per necklace and I thought that was a bargain. One thing about the longer size is that they are easier to put together without causing a split in the included attachment which happens a lot with the 18" size. Good Luck T.
