Answer:	You can purchase a replacement set (Current price $10 (Prime) here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M04YTFG I actually found that the balls which fit my twin nephews' other ball drop toys fit this toy. I purchased these for them and they LOVE that they shake and add an extra dimension to the noise of this toy. The only drawback is that these don't have "green" and they are plastic. Currently they are $8 (Prime) for a set of extras. They do hold up very well though considering the twins fight over them constantly and bang them around with the hammer and any other toy they can find. Answer:	My daughter was 1.5 years old when we were playing with them and I took all the colored parts off. I turned my back for a second and next thing I know, they are all on. I scratched my head because I had never seen her do it before so I wasn't sure if I just forgot I put them on. I tested her again and she put those things right on. Taking them off is a bit harder for her. I'm suspicious she may be above average or has the memory of an elephant. The problem I have with this is that some of the pieces don't fit properly over the spools. The holes are too small and it takes 100 lbs of pressure to get them on and off. I think I got a lemon because I gifted these and there wasn't a problem with those ones.
