Answer:	It’s useless to take off your shoes, but it’s very convenient to wear socks, and it’s going to be winter soon. They are made of special cotton wool, so you won’t feel cold on your feet. You can choose shoehorn if you wear shoes and take off your shoes.

Answer:	I could not use this. One needs considerable strength to bend the plastic in far enough to get the sockmonit. If you had some very stretchy socks or maybe compression socks it would work, I think. I was looking forward to not having to bend over so far to get my socks on but this was not for me.

Answer:	My calf is 18" and there is room to spare. It is a half- circle, so your leg really doesn't go into it, so to speak. I love this thing- putting on my compression thigh highs is no longer a ten minute ordeal every morning! Good luck, my friend!

Answer:	The horseshoe-shaped part is 5 1/2" across at the top, and the whole apparatus stands 18" tall (It slants back, so the overall length is a bit over 18").

Answer:	This one didn't work for me. I could get the stocking over the lip but when I tried pulling the rest on after that, it kept sliding back up and wouldn't pull down. I even had someone try to make it smaller but I couldn't get the stockings on past the getting the top of the stocking over the edge. Plus I have a fused spine and this style requires me putting it on the floor to get my foot in and then I couldn't bend over to pick up the handles. Now I use one that lets me put my foot directly down into the donner once the stocking is on it (I keep it on my walker seat for this). Then I stand, put my foot through, sit back and grab the handles of my donner and pull the stocking up. However, this Truform would definitely fit her calf is she was able to get the stocking on. Mine, unfortunately sits in my closet gather dust.

Answer:	This unit runs until I turn it off. Of course the more pressure you put on it, the less effective it works. I would not try to stand on it for that may mess with the motor. I tilt it with my slippers and go from there.

Answer:	we don't think it would interrupt it. he runs while watching tv and we don't have to adjust the volume at all. is it comfy while not in use depends on the person I suppose. the 'rollers' stick up a bit but I think there is plenty of room to maneuver around them if you don't like the feel. and yes, the heat mode is the last setting on the massager. one push starts the massaging, the next push turns on the heat and the final push turns off the equipment. hope this helps you make your decision :)

Answer:	I use it on a recliner all the time eventhough my preference is to lie on it flat on the floor. Since you aren't lying flat, less weight is put on the "points". You will still feel the them, but not as sharply. However, I always make sure my back is bare, so I do have the most direct contact. I even used it recently in the car while I was a passenger --yes bare-backed. I love this mat and I think it is one of the best purchases I have made.
