Answer:	I don't have the XD mod.2 but I have an XDS. It does fit on the rail perfectly. If the rail were any shorter it would not. Also the front of the light sticks out past the end of the barrel. Answer:	When the PS5 is on the underside of a weapon, the on direction is right to left. This makes it great for a right-handed person because you can reach it with your trigger finger. However, I found that this light is also nice for mounting on top of an AR because it is small enough not to obstruct the iron sights. It is also nice on the top of a home-defense shotgun. Both of these situations flip the unit upside-down, making the on switch direction left to right. Answer:	You need to watch the video on their website, if it's not posted here. The tail cap is a genius design on this light. Just make sure you don't store it where it can get turned on, accidentally.

Answer:	I have mine mounted to an XD .40 service model and the one major draw back to this product is the pin that holds the quick release lever. After about 350 rounds through the weapon w/ the light attached the pin began to back itself out. It's a quick fix with a spring pin but it is something to keep an eye on. Hope this helps.

The battery that comes with it didn't last very long, in fact, it lasted for me to demonstrate to my friends... but the one that I bought, a regular one that you buy anywhere is lasting now for three months and I have used the light for night shooting training all the time. I don't know but the "constant" battery life on this, not surprisingly, will depend on use. I remove the battery when not using, especially if the light tumbles or something, the switch is a "light trigger" switch and if the tumble is on its side, it will light up and wear the battery down until someone sees it. Question:	What is the benefit of having a convex lens
Answer:	Not sure but I have gone outside with it in rain and even dropped it in a puddle and it works fine. I would not suggest submerging it for long periods of time
