Answer:	1000 lumens is bright but perfect for any occasion. The flashlight itself will get hot if left on for a long period of time but nothing to be concerned about. Also keep in mind this is a 1000 lumen flashlight but it has several different modes to adjust the lumens/brightness to any occasion!

Answer:	I had a similar issue after a lot of usuage. I fixed it by taking off the Lens/Lens Hood and hand tightening the post that contacts the (+) end of the battery. No issues since.

Answer:	There is a piece sold exactly for this application. It mounts to the rail and has a slot and a cover to place the switch inside and secure it. I wish I could add a picture as I just ordered that piece and took a screenshot. It is $12. I serched rail mounted pressure switch and it was the 1st option.

When these batteries and the products that use them first came out some years ago, they were hard to find and expensive. Not so any more. Very good, long lasting power source. These Energizer lights have 3 LEDs which is a very good configuration. More of a flood than an spot. Very useful walking-around light when you need a lot of bright light to check large areas/rooms, or around outside your house.

Answer:	On this particular model. You have to turn on the flashlight twice. The third time you turn it on you will get the strobe feature. Turn it off and turn it on again. You get the blacklight feature. You have to go through two regular on and off cycles of regular flashlight before you get to the special features.
