Answer:	yes, that is how I am using it, I only have 2 wires coming from my boiler. Batteries seem to last a year, I just change them out at the beginning of my heating season.

Answer:	The unit has 4 internal tabs that hold it together. I find it easier to separate it using the three tabs on the top of the unit and pushing back on the center tab while holding one of the side tabs. It's a tight fit so it doesn't come apart easily just don't be too brutal with it.

Answer:	6.6FT telescoping ladder has 5 adjustable rungs, to open the ladder from the top rung, so 1+5=6rungs, one rung may take 5~8seconds, so it may take you around 30~48 seconds. Question:	I am buying a nest e. do i really need to buy this sensor
Answer:	You don't need this sensor to operate a nest thermostat. The best has a temperature sensor built in. It will take the room temperature where the nest is installed and regulates the AC based on that room. Some folks have the need to control an additional space during certain times of the day. Most common would be a bedroom during night time. With the extra sensor you can set up the AC to bring the temperature of the bedroom to a certain temperature regardless what the temperature is in the room the nest thermostat is in. So it's a comfort feature. You can try the next by itself and if you find that you want to change temperature control to your bedroom you can add it later.
Question:	Hi my home has 5 zones do i need just one nest? or do i need one in each zone? would the sensors be good enough
Answer:	If you are going to replace your thermostat with Nest thermostat, a one for one replacement for each thermostat. Now, if you have just one thermostat and five zones, then it implies that you are monitoring temperature and providing feedback to the thermostat for each zone. To put it simple one nest thermostat, plus sensors will give you the hability to keep one selected room at a temeprature desired. Just select the sensor you want to set as controlling. For more than one thermostat you will need the above set up multiple times. The Nest application is one the most user friendly apps I have ever used.

Answer:	I am sorry, i have not installed them yet, but according to the manual, you can have outside temperature sensor, and return air temperature sensor, but no additional room temperature sensors.
Question:	If i set it to lets say 76 degrees, when will it turn on the a/c and turn it off? would it be at 77 and 75? i know the nest range is too wide for me
Answer:	8910W works just fine without WiFi, you just cannot manage it via the phone app or web. Yes it should reconnect when WiFi comes back. I occasionally (every 1-2 months) reboot the WiFi access points when upgrading their firmwares, and the 8910W reconnects just fine.
Question:	what if you have more than one zone? I have 3 zones, would i need to by one thermostat for each zone

You would be able to adjust the span setting via the iDevices Connected App. The span regulates how long the equipment runs and how long it waits between runs. Question:	Can you change the orange color
Answer:	The Nest turns orange after you to turn up the heat. When it reaches the new temp, it goes back to black.
Question:	Does it work with a whole house humidifier
Answer:	If the humidifier is compatible and is connected to the thermostat not just the furnace.
Question:	Will this help regulate the temp in my 2 story home? In the winter, we have to keep the downstairs freezing so that the upstairs isn’t sweltering hot
Answer:	I had that issue as my basement where the HVAC is hotter than the 1st floor and 1st floor hotter than the 2nd floor. I bought an additional sensor for the 2nd floor and use that as the temperature control at night. 1st floor and basement remain warmer than the 2nd floor but at least the 2nd floor is at a comfortable temperature at night.
Question:	Will it work with a dual cooling and heating forced air system

1. Cut off the power of circuit breaker.

2. Install the wire from your 24 volt adapter to the “C” terminal and the other wire to the “RC” terminal. You need to use included jumper and connect from “RH” to “RC” terminals，if HVAC system has a cooling.

3. Plug the power adapter into the socket and turn on the power of the circuit breaker.

4. Install the panel on the thermostat.

Question:	What is the purpose of the temperature sensor? Doesn't the thermostat have a temp sensor
Answer:	You can set it to run off either the sensor or the thermostat. I have mine set to run off the thermostat most of the day and the sensor at night.
