You will stick a strip of velcro to attach and then secure with straps on the cane buddy. The velcro keeps it from sliding off.

Answer: It would be pretty darn hard for a thief to get it. It attaches to the cane with a wide, long, strong Velcro strip, plus has three strong loops to wrap around and secure it. It doesn't slip or slide, and is basically made to stay there...even if tugged or pulled on. It couldn't be easily cut off, either. No rfid features - it's strong mesh. It's equal with very good camping equipment. It holds pretty much, too. I have no problem with my keys tearing it. It's pretty sturdy. Hope this helped.

Answer: I have used it on uneven surfaces in the woods without a problem.
Question: Does the spout rotate
Answer: You want to avoid this cane, especially the base. The four legs of the base are made from steel tubing and there is nothing on the ends of the tubing to stop it from cutting into the tips that are placed on the ends of the tubing. I have tried to work with mine but in the end the ragged ends of the steel tubing cuts through the rubber tips. I went through several trying to get it to work. Stay away from this.

Answer: Yes, it can be used on the beach, except that it is a very light-weight chair and hence not comfortable for sitting for longer periods of time. If you are comparing this to regular camping chairs or folding chairs, this one is much lighter and may be uncomfortable, particularly for heavier-set folks.
