Answer:	After doing my original research, I found only one model snd that is it. Not sure what you by longer cord. The wire going from the backup to the faucet? If you are handy perhaps you can splice and solder a longer wire.

Answer:	The "gray box" included in this Moen 169031 adapter kit allows you to plug BOTH the AC adapter (included in this kit) and the battery holder (included with your faucet) into the power input on the motionsense faucet. Under normal circumstances, the faucet will run by the power supplied by the AC adapter. However, when you have a power outage, the battery holder provides power to the faucet as a backup. This system will not charge the batteries, so just use regular batteries and they will last a long time since they are only providing power for the times when your household electricity is out. The grey box included in this kit also has some LED indicators on the front which tell you status of the power supply, if batteries are active and/or need to be replaced. I just bought this for my Moen Motionsense faucet and it's working quite well.

Answer:	There are several versions of the Moen 7590 faucet, a couple of which DO USE this mechanism. I used this 100429 kit to fix my Moen 7590ORB (the ORB is the finish, oil-rubbed bronze) that was installed in 2006 and the parts fit perfectly. I'd suggest removing the handle, and if the parts underneath look like this, then this will probably work.

Question:	What trim did you use with this adapter and a standard valve? I'm having a hard time determining what trims will go with it
Answer:	I used the Moen T3113BN Kingsley Moentrol Volume Control Tub Shower Trim Kit, And left the original valve.
Question:	Does the adapter install flush against the wall or shower wall
Answer:	Depends on the valve placement...it fits/screws over the existing valve. The placement is changed by the thickness of the adaptor. I'm not sure what that thickness is. My existing valve wasn't flush with shower wall. I believe it would be rare for the shower wall to fit flush to the valve in most installations which means this nominal decrease in "gap" between the shower wall and the valve would be a non-issue. If you remove your cover plate and see that the existing valve and shower wall are flush, then it wouldn't work. My guess is that you will find it has an existing gap.
Question:	Is this necessary if i have moen 3570 valve & moen kingsley t3111 trim
Answer:	No. These models are designed for each other, making them compatible without additional adapters. However, if you have an older Standard Valve and just want to replace the trim without replacing the valve, you would need this Adapter. This adapter simply updates the screw positions on your valve so you can attached the trim plate. Just look at where the current screw positions are located. If your valve has both plate screw positions on the bottom at 5 and 7, then you'll need this adapter to correct the screw position. If they are positioned diagonally across from each other, then you will not need the adapter.
Question:	Will this help convert a push pull knob
Answer:	Yes. We used this adapter to change from the old clear push knob. It works with our new "Moentrol" trim. The new handle turns to adjust temp and pulls out to turn the water on.

Answer:	Yes. This allows you to thread spout from front. I used it when remodeling two bathrooms. It's an awesome product. Not sure why Home Depot or lowes wouldn't carry these.

Answer:	While this question is 5 years old and the problem likely resolved, the answer is 99.99% NO based on the rather skimpy information provided. I will assume that you are sure your existing fixture is actually MOEN. Monticello is merely the name of the trim styling. From your description, you have a BATHtub which generally is NOT a Roman(garden) tub or centerset faucet installation (though your "bath tub" reference may be that any tub in a bathroom as a bathtub, an equivalence which is ambiguous and probably incorrect). As such, these parts would fit a product you very likely do NOT have. Past that there are so many other things unknown for your situation that you should consult a plumbing supply house with a kitchen and bath showroom that has MOEN products - those people will readily show you the differences between the various tub fixture types, valve assemblies, applications, and mounting. I do NOT recommend making any decisions based on an AMAZON search for handle adapter parts, especially if your concern is a hose connection. Unless you have the exact MOEN model number or are substantially better in conversation that your question reflects, calling MOEN will probably not be productive for whatever you are trying to accomplish. For what it's worth I am not aware of any MOEN products that would convert a ROMAN tub or sink fixture's spout to a shower hose connection. Assuming I and seeing through to what you really may have been asking, conversion of an existing tub's faucet/spout to a shower system with a hose/wand assembly would involve: A. replacing the in-wall valve set to the a proper style that feeds a hi-mount shower spout / head that could be adapted for a hose / wand (and would require in-wall plumbing additions), OR B. replacing the exposed valve set/spout of a freestanding tub with a similar new valve assembly/spout that has a diverter valve to the hose attachment or to a showerhead stand-pipe for the (again adapted to a hose/wand), OR C. replacing the existing tub spout with a new spout that has a diverter valve and hose connection to the shower wand which would be external to any wall (this is dependent on the length of the pipe withing the existing spout to provide a reasonably easy to seal gap at the shower wall, if that applies to your installation). The 97556 kit was used on Monticello centerset, mini widespread and roman tub faucets prior to a handle hub redesign in 2002. Faucets that use this kit have either a clear adapter for hot and transparent dark blue adapter for cold; or, the handle adapters may be black and white as shown in the picture. The 100561 adapters are red and blue and were used on Monticello centerset and mini widespread faucets only, after 2002. The 97556 kit was always used on Monticello roman tub faucets.
