I'm not sure what your application is, but if you are using it for small and medium sized projects, you can't beat the Critter Sprayer. http://www.amazon.com/Critter-Spray-Products-22032-Siphon/dp/B00006FRPJ/ref=zg_bs_497500_2Don't let the redneck look fool you, it sprays well and cleans up very quickly. The worst part of the Campbell Hausfeld gun is cleaning the pot. It takes forever and you use a lot of mineral spirits.

Answer:	I sprayed from the provided metal container. I had issues with it the whole time though. If i wasn't angling the sprayer up then it would just blow air. That makes it impossible to spray anything less than a foot and half or so off the ground. I wouldn't bother buying this sprayer. Spend the extra money and get something of real quality with plenty of positive reviews. If you're cool with throwing away $60 just send it to me and I'll find something to waste it on.

Answer:	I returned mine because it was bent beyond repair (thin enough that I could bend it back some, but it was still flawed and wouldn't fit flush with the counter). I recall reading reviews (from Amazon and/or Home Depot on this product) and several customers that I assume had bought this for indoor use said they had issues with rust. I wouldn't recommend it for outdoor use. After handling it and seeing how flimsy it is, I wouldn't recommend it at all.
