Answer:	The UK version (Bosch GCM 12 GDL Professional) ships with an included non battery powered laser that produces two lines that bracket the saw kerf. Not sure why Bosch made the laser layout tool an extra for USA version. There are other differences between these models and the UK 240V version has more options as stardard equipment.

Answer:	Yes, it has a depth stop. The saw cuts very nice and it glides effortlessly, u must adjust the drag on it. When cutting dadoes, it does not hang up like rail type saws when the fine dust finds its way into the rail bearings like the Dewalt I used to use. It was an expensive investment in a saw, but i really like it so much more then any of my previous sliding compound saws.

Answer:	SGT .several reasons i chose this saw over the 5312. first off I run a high end custom cabinet shop and this saw sees very heavy uses. The sliding rails on the type of the Bosh 5312 always get dust in the bearings and with time the sliding action sticks and must be taken apart, the bearings cleaned and re-lubed with dry silicone lubricant. That is what my experience was with my last 3 sliding saws, (Dewalt, Ryobe and Dewalt pro). the other thing i love about the Bosch GCM12SD its there are no rails sticking out the back of the saw, and the clearance from the wall where my saw sits is no longer needed. It was a great investment even though its on the pricy side. i love the accuracy and the performance, I change to a better cutting blade and the performance got better. I switch from the stock blade and now run a Forrest CM12806115 Chopmaster 12 inch 80 tooth blade cleaner cuts and very smother with no tear outs. i hope this helps you

Answer:	The Garibaldi Biscuits I recently received have an expiration date of July 2017, and I received them in September 2016. That's a long shelf life. Perhaps by the phrase "so stale", you may be referring to the crumbly nature of these biscuits. The biscuit part is a little thicker, and a little more crumbly than the old "Sunshine Raisin Biscuits" that were discontinued long ago. If by "stale" you mean crumbly, yes they are. I suggest eating them over a paper plate or over a sink - definitely NOT on the couch without a plate underneath.

Answer:	1609B02007 is the bosch part number for the brackets. Amazon has them if you search the number, however as of this posting they are on the order of $10 cheaper direct from bosch. Can't say how shipping/handling/tax compares.
Question:	Do the ends of the support arms flip up to act as a stop when I want to cut several pieces the same length
Answer:	The end pieces move up and they can be used as stops, but I find they are a bit "wiggly" and seem cheaply constructed. I do not rely totally on them for stops; I clamp a piece of wood to the arm and make it as firm as possible. Maybe the one I got is not as well built as the ones used by the authors of the other two answers.

Answer:	Trini, I would believe John Cottingham's review, since he has one. The mounting system is very accomodating. The saw only needs four bolt holes in its base. The mounting bars on the stand can be placed anywhere along the center rail to accomodate the width of the saw base and the length of the bars can handle most depths of the saw since the attachments are in slotted holes. The rear mounting holes also have some play sideways so the rails can handle a saw that has different spacings of the rear and front bolt holes. I have a 12" DeWalt saw and this stand makes hauling it around real sweet. Also, setup for operation is really quick. The laser guide should not be an issue.

What the Bosch 12-inch compound miter saw may lack in popularity compared to some of its competitors, it makes up for in quality design and construction. The saw has a heavy-duty 26-inch steel table that extends to 29 inches, and a tall sliding fence for working with crown molding and other large stock. While this isn't the lightest 12-inch saw available, at only 43 pounds it's still plenty portable, and comes with a cushioned top handle for easy carrying to and from the truck. Considering how solid and stable this tool is, and the amount of metal making up the base and table, we were actually surprised to find that it weighs as little as it does. The 15 amp motor on this saw, in typical Bosch fashion, runs remarkably smooth and relatively quiet. The electric brake stops the blade quickly every time. The miter gauge on this saw is engraved, so if the paint wears off you won't lose the markings or need to replace the saw. This is a great feature, and the Bosch saw is one of only a couple of saws on the market that includes it. It also features nine miter detents that can be easily overridden for micro adjustments, and we had no problem getting the table to lock in tight at a half degree off the detent. Answer:	It is expandable, allowing it to slide over the throat of the exhaust tube. Relaxed, it is 2 3/4". When expanded to fit over the exhaust it is 3". Both dimensions are diameters of the opening.
