• Step 3: Determine the position of the straight cutting line, add the metal guide to the jigsaw base (keep the metal guide against the straight edge of the board), adjust the position of the guide and fix it
• Step 4: Push the jigsaw along the straight edge to make straight cut

Laser & LED Light Adjustment

Laser & LED Switch - 4 Modes:

laser (on) - LED (on) - laser & LED (on) - laser & LED (off)

Make sure the laser is in line with the saw blade. You can adjust the laser direction by follow the steps below:

Prize up the tiny black shell under the laser & LED button, then plug a fine Allen key into the tiny hole to adjust the laser line

Bevel Angle Adjustment

• Step 1: Unscrew the nut of base with an Allen wrench
• Step 2: Adjust the angle of jigsaw to desired angle, then push the jigsaw slowly until it lock with card slot
• Step 3: Tighten the nut with an Allen wrench until the jigsaw is secure

Question:	Is this saw worth the extra $ compared to the skil 4495-02 6amp for example? thanks
Answer:	Just got one. SPECTACULAR. I cannot say how it compares to that Skil model, which seems to have almost identical features... EXCEPT, the Bosch takes T-shank blades so blade changing will be easier than with the U-shank style that the Skil uses. I replaced a very old Skil model (not as nice as the 4495 you are looking at), which took U-shanks, and after using this one, I would never go back. The Bosch is smooth, powerful, vibration free.
