Answer:	I truly don't understand BC it states right in the title that it rotates yet everyone acts like we are supposed to ignore the information?!?!
Question:	I was wondering how this product holds up while etching on granite
Answer:	Granite has a hardness of 6-7 and the carbide steel point has a hardness of of 8.5 so thepoint should win out. It depends on how detailed a design you are trying to do since thetip will round some in use. There is the heavy duty #9929 point as an alternative.
Question:	Hello. this is going to sound like a really silly question. But how do i inset the tip of the engraver? what size screwdriver would i need
Answer:	Good luck. It is a tiny screw. It took me over an hour of trying to get the tip inserted and held in place by the screw before I discovered there was no possible way. A set screw would have worked well, but this engraver needs a redesign. Consider how much force is going to be applied to the tip, between the pressure needed to engrave your item, as well as the vibration produced by the machine and it makes no sense why such a tiny screw was used. Please read all the reviews before buying.

Answer:	The item that I order is Electric Tool Kit and comes with instructions, but the operation is so simple that the instructions are unnecessary.

Answer:	I had the same issue. What I found was, holding down the button on the side, taking off the tip, yiu have to push it hard into the gold piece. Then out the silver tip back on and release the button. It took me a bit to figure it out.
Question:	Can the equipment cut glass
Answer:	It can cut glass in the sense of cutting out pieces of glass. But it can be used to cut small holes in the glass as you might need for a clock face done in glass. Use a standard glass cutter for cutting out pieces, or for getting glass to right size for a window.

Answer:	No, not really. If you were engraving a poem it might. I really like this, do a little practice with it so you get used to how it handles.I really like this engraver.
Question:	Is this engraver strong enough and with a fine enough point to engrave my name (size 12-16 font) into my running medals
Answer:	Yes. I’ve bought several of these. I’ve tried different tools including dremels. This seems to work the best. Practice on something else first. I’d also suggest writing in thin marker and then engraving over so you don’t make mistakes.
Question:	Would this be a good engraver for stainless steel dog tags
Answer:	It would not engave on stainless. I used on clad aluminum and it wouldn't engrave

Question:	Will this cut vinyl decals
Answer:	I would recommend against it. The laser uses concentrated light and as such generates a lot of heat. The vinyl material may (probably) release toxic gasses and the heat will likely distort the material. For cutting decals I recommend something like a Cricut.
Question:	I am wanting to engrave in leather and cow hide. Which watts would you suggest? Also would be doing wood but main focus is leather and hide
Answer:	I own the 20 watt model and would recommend it. The 15 watt would get the job done but suggest getting the 20 watt.
Question:	Is wifi required on this unit all the time
Answer:	No. The machine only needs to be connected to a computer for operation. No need to connect to the Internet. You can operate the machine offline.
Question:	What do have to set the unit on or can I just set it on a table without anything under it
Answer:	I would suggest that you place a 24" x 24" non flamable piece under the unit. For example, i placed mine on a table, but placed a 2 SF piece of tile under it in the event the laser burnt through whatever i was cutting. This was just a precautiinary measure. I picked one up at a local tile liquidation store for $2.00.

Answer:	I've never tried but it works on other metals I think with the right tip it cav work on just about anything

Answer:	It can engrave into metal, so I'm sure it could engrave into wood, but you might test or practice with it on a different piece of wood. I don't know if the result would look smooth or if it would tear it up a bit being that would is fiber.

Answer:	Not likely. You’ll probably need a more heavy duty type tool for hole drilling but I would need to know what materials you have in mind. It might work for a thin plastic but not much else.

Answer:	Yes, it can suitable 220V.

Answer:	Mine came with safety instructions and minimal basic operation instructions: They say what it does, carve,engrave,grind,sand, polish etc. Plus Never load a bit while it's plugged in. Press shaft lock button. Use the collet wrench to loosen the collet nut. Insetthe bit (not included) and tighten the collet securely. But avoid excess tightning, THere is a ON/OFF switch. (uh, duh?) When ON tool runs at3,000 RPM. Find switch indicator with orange line on it. Slide switch to find seed needed from 3,000 - 20,000 RPM. Slide switch to black dot to stop. Unplug when off. Never clean with cleaning solvents use soft cloth only. Hide from children in a clean dry place and never go swimming with this tool. ;) No replacement parts available. Sorry, I would have sent a pic but I don't know how . Don't know what a collet is either so I put mine back in the box and hid it in a dry place where children could not play with it, lol Have Fun!

Answer:	I never did either.....I did find out this is fine for a pendant, but don't expect to engrave stone or something really hard.....I would say just start using it....I never received instructions with mine either, nothing to explain the bits, etc.....So I would say just experiment, that is what I did, but it did not work for what I wanted.

Answer:	These tools are made for 15000 RPM and to a Maximum of 35000 RPM range. Your hand drill has a maximum of 1200 to 3500 RPM. They will fit but the user will struggle to maintain control of either the drill or the material being cut. Note: it may be possible to cut and remove material from balsa wood, or styrofoam withe these bits, but I wouldn't recommend it. Start the hole at an angle.

Carefully move the drill around just enough to ream out the sides of the hole.

Press and hold the safety lock and unscrew the interface.
