The only real difference is the amount of run time( and the higher end batteries cost more). Chances are the kit you indicated is the basic battery line. Hope this helps.

Answer:	My drill Chuck has been binding up since new. But still usable for now.. The impacts Chuck broke internally and wouldn't lock the bits in and the impact lost all speeds except for fast... I bought a new impact and it sparked and smelled like burning plastic for the first 30 minutes. Works now without an issue.will see.. I'd go with another brand,I'm a contractor and have been using DeWalt for 20+ years.DeWalt seems to have gone down hill. Not buying again next time.

Answer:	Mostly to use as a power screwdriver, but you can buy individual 1/4" drive drill bits that are already adapted to this style chuck and/or a keyless check adapter for original style drill bits that will check up in this drill also, this drill does have a clutch with a drill setting on it which in turn would allow it to drill through wood also.

I use it all the time for drilling pilot holes in sheetrock or wood, and then switch to the appropriate driver for screws or whatever. Works GREAT for up to 10 or 12-size screws and maybe 1-1/2" or 2" length. Very happy with mine in the yard, barn, garden, or shop !
