Question:	Can i run a small hvlp gun with this? The gun runs around 7cfm at 29psi
Answer:	I read that one individual purchased the MAC700, which is the next one down in size. In cold weather, his compressor would not start, and had to be continually reset. He finally drained all of the oil out of the compressor, and replaced it with synthetic oil. After that, it started up and ran fine in cold weather. I understand others have stated that you are only supposed to use the factory advised oil, but under dire circumstances, it worked fine for this Gentleman. That may be because Makita builds air compressors that are practically indestructible.
Question:	Is the tank corrosion free
Answer:	Disregard comment from SAJITH MATHEW, as this compressor arrives with only enough oil for 1 one the initial fill-up! The enclosed manual will tell you the "weight" of oil to use. As for "brand", that's entirely up to you, but whatever you choose, be sure that that oil is for AIR COMPRESSORS, only!! After a bout 100 hrs of use, I just recently changed over to "Royal Purple 01513 Synfilm Recip 100 H Perf Synethetic Air Compressor" oil ava. on Amazon, as it performs better at lower temperatures, since I'm in Northern New Mexico where it can be below 30* even in April/May.

Answer:	The primary determiner, beyond motor size (HP rating), cylinder volume and piston mass that dictates how much current (Amps) is drawn by the compressor at any given moment, from startup with a empty tank to restart for recharging a pressure regulated tank, is a dynamic value that is a function of backpressure at the compressor output from the storage tank(s). The amount of power (watts), be it instantaneous or free running, is a function of Amps x Volts (110-120) = Watts, up to the maximum wattage rating of the compressor motor. As side note, the motor as it becomes hot from use, also losing some electrical efficiency as the internal winding resistance inside the motor increases with temperature, creating a slight increase in voltage drop across the windings, requiring the motor to draw more current. A person brashly accusing Makita of being "weaselly" (nouns transform into adjectives, not adverbs) should, at minimum, know the difference between power consumption and amps drawn, thus non weasels like question that in reality is seeking two separate answers. Answer:	not good... completely different from the regular miracle noodles. according to the directions, you don't have to boil them, you can steep them in hot water. i tried this and they did not seem to get cooked. probably better off boiling them. these noodles are short and stiff, and after I prepared them according to the directions they remained somewhat hard/they did not fully soften. these noodles were a complete waste of money.

Answer:	I have not used the pc1010 for my airbrush. I have an airbrush and I would think the pc1010 would have plenty of air capacity for that use. I have used the pc1010 for inflating small tires, air mattresses, and water pressure tanks.
Question:	What style quick coupler
Answer:	Sure, it produces 1 cu ft of air @ 120lb pressure in just over 2 minutes. That hvlp starting line gun needs 8 cu ft of air @30lb pressure per minute. So (very roughly)that 120lb 1 GAL OF AIR IS WELL OVER 200 GAL. @30LB. (that is a guess based on the fact that 1 gal of air @ 175lbs, expands to lil over 1000g at normal air pressure) The key would be to have a secondary storage tank. Any semi good vessel would work. A 50g water heater tank would work if you regulated the air going to it at say 45 lbs. This would give you a bunch of volume plus remove any compressor pulse. You would simply set the output of the senco at 45lb then use as large a hose as you can get (at least 1/2") to a tee. run one leg of the tee to the extra tank one to the compressor and one to your gun. The one to the gun make 3/8". You do not need a different in and out to the storage tank. One port is fine. The air is either going in or out never both. You might find a old compressor tank from a failed compressor for free. This would make a good supply for minimal cost. Just relax a bit if it starts running a lot and let it catch up. I don't think the other answered understood that model DEVILBISS is a touch up gun GLBTW; If your worried about a Water tank for air. Air tanks do not "blow up." It isn't like a overheated water tank doing a BLEVE. Air tanks when they fail simply split. Makes a good mess but no shrapnel.

Answer:	The label on the unit says: Model PC1010; 1/2HP; SCFM output: 1.4CFM; Tank: 1 gal; Max Output: 125psi; 115v 4a 60hz. It will fill the tire but it take a long time and it would be wise to stop every now and then to allow the compressor to cool. I've used it to top off tires- to raise the pressure 10psi from 50 to 60 takes about 10 minutes. This is not a continuous duty machine in my opinion, but it is a great little unit for low volume needs.

Most 1/4" connectors are only passing around 32-40 CFM. Even with two good sized compressors I wasn't getting the air flow I needed. A holding tank near the blaster and 3/8" lines helped a lot.

Answer:	According to the specs, it should be good for 300 psi. The one I have is only 3 ft long from one compressor tank to another tank. I have used it at 120 psi with no problems.

Answer:	Quick disconnect are great when you need them, but every connection is another restriction to getting air where you want it, so use as few as possible. The exception are double-female connectors, which are full ID. If in doubt put your mouth over the end of a connector and try blowing through it. I think you'll be shocked at how fast those restrictions add up, and how much long hoses hurt flow-rate. To screw the both ends of the hose in would only require ONE end to turn, which a swivel connection will do, and so will a HV Milton Type-V quick connect. Always use Milton HV Type-V connectors to get 74 instead of 40 CFPM flow. Many mfgs now support this standard. With a female air-chuck on one end, and a HV male quick connect on the other, plugged into a HV female quick connector on the tank/compressor, this will allow a small 3-10 gallon tank/compressor to fill tires at an amazing rate.
