Answer:	There are two 1/4-20 tapped holes on either side, for starter pin. I can't find my starter pin, but am pretty sure the unit came with one. You can always make your own. I like my JessEm unit compared to woodpeckers unit. Easy to operate and lock in place.

Answer:	I have the kit and I have bought several blanks. The reasoning is that it prevents larger scrap parts from falling into your router and prevents the possibility of them jamming your router. I have my lifts enclosed in a vacuum chamber for dust extraction and it also helps concentrate the vacuum into the bit for better dust removal.

Answer:	I have the Skil 900 Router table along with the Skill Router. I had to purchase a new router ecosystem because my Skil Router would no longer hold it's depth settings. so I purchased the Bosch 1617 EVSPK Router Combo Kit and the Bosch Router Table RA1181with an additional Fixed base. When I was taking the Skil router table down I noticed a label on it which said Robert Bosch Company. My skil table quick release wasn't compatible with the Bosch Fixed base otherwise I probably would have used my Skil Router Table. I will say the Bosch Router table 1181 is much nicer. The MDF platform was ok except dust go in on the plastic edges and the edges separated from the table slightly. I'm a very light DIY type of person. If my Skil Router had a more robust/accurate depth guide I probably would still be using it.

Answer:	Yes, the router is designed to work with 120v, the router table has a on off switch which will need to be plug into a 110 outlet, when the router is inserted into the table , it is plugged into the outlet on the table, using voltage greater than 120v will burnout the brushes in your router.

Answer:	Nope. It's made for a trim router. The plate will be too small for a standard router base.

Answer:	Yes. This is the trim router that I use. The pre-cut hole patterns on the clear circular plexi do not align to the Makita router. I used my router as a template and carefully drilled and countersunk the necessary plexi mount holes. It does work, it just needs to be fitted to the Makita. Very happy with my setup.

Answer:	The Kreg Precision Router Lift will have three inches of travel. This will allow bit changes above the table.

Answer:	Yes, 1617 fits perfectly. Just make sure you follow the directions closely... meaning loosen the collar fully first, then insert the clamp bolts at position 5 on all four clamps, then slide the 1617 in, pull it 1/16” up from the stop, hold and tighten the collar with the lift wrench.

Answer:	I cannot answer for the PC 7518, but have adjusted to work with the PC 890 Series plunge base. Adjustments included use of the Bosch 1/4-IN rod sleeve guides, purchased 1/4x36-IN steel rod (halved), shape filed rod ends to fit PC 1/4-IN anchor holes, set screws and prepared1/8-IN thick Lexan base plate to fit (rod anchor height need). BTW, no rod adjustments needed with use of 3/16-IN steel rod though stayed with 1/4-IN rod as Bosch edge guide had 1/4-IN rod capacity. Note: As stated by Bosch, comparability not tested. This works well.

Answer:	I bought a 4' length of 3/8" rod from Home Depot and cut it in half, so each of the 2 rods is 24" which works perfectly.
